I wish we have that.

How I wish we have the same Nationwide Phone Lookup service site in the US where we can look for and get detailed information on any phone number online given any time. That would have been great don’t you think? Not only will it save us time from searching phone numbers of people we want to get in touch with, we can also track down those annoying prank callers who don’t have anything better to do with their time. We do get a lot of these calls you know and they are so irritating. I wonder if we should get a caller ID because we don’t have such phone look up service here. What do you think?

Two Day Online Shopping Spree.

I don’t know what has gotten to me but for the past days now I have been spending my time shopping online. I wouldn’t have stopped if only I still have some money to spare but unfortunately (or should I say fortunately?) the paypal account I’m using has been depleted and not a single centavo is left. :D

Take note, nothing I bought was for me nor the husband although I was close to getting alli as I would need them once I give birth. Its really all bout the kid err, kids now. :D

To Blog.

Just to remind myself, these are the things I need to blog about :

~ MBAP Christmas / Shower Party
~ Sophia in her “surgeon” costume
~ My stroller hunt
~ My two day online shopping spree (I am so broke right now, promise!)
~ My search for unlocked cell phones to give to Sophia’s yaya and my new house help.

Looks like I have got a lot of writing to do so keep coming back for updates.

So happy!

Miracles indeed do happen. Haha. This is so shallow but I’m so happy. It’s meant to be, LOL.

You see, as I have previously blogged, my first choice of venue for the joint celebration of Sophia’s 4th Birthday and Baby Bullet’s Baptism is already not available for my chosen date when I inquired (and so is every Saturday and Sunday of the month of February and March). Such actually dampened my party spirit for a while so I stopped planning for the party. Just yesterday though, for some reason, I called the venue again just to check for the last time before I book another place and voila, March 8 slot is now open! I asked them if they were sure and they said yes as apparently, the one who booked the said date moved their event a month later. So now I am giddy happy and so back to being excited for the party again. :D

Catch is I need to pay the venue rental and the security bond this Friday in full already as I only have a week to confirm my reservation and they have a pending 25% price increase. Nevertheless, happy happy happy mommy here. :D

Finding one’s match.

I was laughing my heart out while chatting with my cousin the other night over at ym as he narrated to me how he met the girl he is about to meet in an official date tomorrow. Apparently, my cousin has been a lurker of a certain online dating site and he skims all the online Personals within his area. Pathetic as it may seem, he told me of how a friend of his got to meet the love of his life through an online dating site so he is hoping he could find his too. Well, I just hope he really does but I told him to stay clear of married personals as he just might get in trouble.  I never thought that online is the perfect place to meet people looking for their perfect match but who knows, maybe to others it is.

And Sophia’s wearing this …

for her Children’s Day program this coming Thursday.

korea.png

She’ll be Little Miss Korea after so much thought and consideration. :D

First, I wanted a costume that is easy to figure out, haha. I was thinking if I made her wear those from Holland, Switzerland, Italy and the like (which actually all look the same to me), even if really nice, its quite hard to know just by looking at it what country the costume really is from without having to wear a sash.

Second, I needed a costume that is easy to make as we only have less than a week to prepare.

Lastly, the daddy wanted Korea so no questions asked. LOL!

Toys for the Boys.

Its almost Christmas once again and if you are like me who doesn’t like cramming when it comes to buying gifts for those I care for, now is the perfect time to start on your Christmas shopping. Since I am eight months pregnant though, I have started my shopping even earlier this year. For two weeks now, I have been buying gifts here and there for the people close to me. I am nowhere near halfway done but I’m sure before the month ends, I will.

Right now, I am buying gifts for my side of the family - my mom and my siblings. For the two 15 year old boys, I am thinking of getting them Xbox 360 accessories. I might get the Limited Edition Halo 3 Wireless Headset which I am sure they will love as they have been hooked playing Xbox. I can’t afford to get them a new game console such as the PlayStation 3 so I’m leaving that one to my mom. I hope they will love what I’m getting for them still though.

International Costume Hunt.

I just learned the other day that Sophia’s school won’t have a Halloween Program for the kids which means I don’t have to prepare a costume for her. What they’ll have instead is a Children’s Day were they’ll be asked to come in an international costume of some sort. Wow, this got me excited! Good thing, Prim of Baby Fashionista haven’t started on Sophia’s Halloween costume yet.

Now, for the Children’s Day Program next week, I have yet to decide what country the little girl will represent. Since they gave us free hand to choose, its more confusing and the indecisive me can’t seem to make up my mind between the national costume of Korea, Spain, Italy, Holland or Sweden. Ayayay! What do you think?

I’m so excited that as early as now I took out the camcorder already, LOL!

Toysssss.

I just finished blog hopping and seeing my fellow bloggers’ online shopping loot for their little ones made me want to shop too. :D

Actually, sometime last week, I already was planning on ordering stuff online for the little girl which includes these …

5387.jpg 19367.jpgdora-the-explorer-toys-talking-cash-register.jpg

…but I stopped myself as I was thinking of just getting similar toys here. But the savings I’ll get is just too tempting if I order online so I might go ahead and order the toys above. The little girl is requesting for a doll house though so I might get that one at the mall as its quite big and bulky so I have no choice. What kind and which doll house, I have yet to find out as I will let the little girl choose when we go to the toy store soon. I hope not the big ones though like these below as they would cost a fortune from where I am from.

These types and size would do, but as I checked in the mall, still a bit expensive.

A friend by the way is selling Crayola products from the US and I might get some too for the little girl since she loves painting and stuff. Here, look what I might get as they are such a steal! If you are interested, you can email your order at (bingdejesus@yahoo.com).
