Some two weeks ago, my daughter celebrated Linggo ng Wika in their school. She came in an Igorot Costume for a change. She wore a baro’t saya when she was in Nursery while in JK, she was dressed in a Mindanao Costume. Among the three, so far, this Igorot get up is my favorite. Here she is with some of her classmates who mostly came in baro’t saya.

Dressing up little girls either for parties, school programs or mere mall dates is such a delight. There are simply a lot of choices compared to dressing up little boys. I should know, I have both. As I told my health care career driven cousin who is expecting her first baby girl in three months, she better get her pockets ready for shopping! Haha.

8. Both kids doing well in school.
9. Venus Raj placing 4th at the Ms. universe Pageant.

My head is aching from reading a ton of netbook reviews online to help my brother choose which one to get. Now I need a break before this headache ends up into a migraine attack. After all, the netbook isn’t even going to be mine! LOL. I would appreciate if you have netbook recommendations though so as we could shorten the list.

So blogging I am now to relax a bit.

Pardon how random this post may be. Will try to write whatever comes to mind.

First off, its kid 1’s Linggo ng Wika in school. They’ve been having activities all week and today she brought pork sinigang with rice for their “salo-salo”. Why such viand, don’t even ask. She’s addicted to sinigang! Tomorrow, it’ll be their costume parade and for this year, I decided to dress the little girl in an igorot costume. When she was in nursery, she wore a “saya” and last year for JK, she came in a Muslim costume. So far, I think her costume tomorrow will be my favorite.

On to kid 2. He’s very well settled in his toddler class already. His teachers were also very happy to note that he had been trying to communicate with them already and would even sit on their laps for a song or a story. He also started saying words (that I understand) – finally! He’s such a big boy by the way. Everyone who’d see him would say he looks like he’s 3.

I thought living near the kids’ schools would buy me some time for myself but hell no. I spend my whole morning driving! Taking the kids to school is a lot of work. Now I badly miss my driver. And I mean badly.

House construction is in full blast and Jon and I are getting more and more excited. Will post photos soon!

I am on my way out now to meet a friend and help her look for those nanny cams at the Home Depot near us. She had been wanting to install one in her house for the longest time now because her 2 year old daughter is always left at home the whole day with no one but the nanny. With all the horror stories in the news regarding nannies, she wouldn’t want to take chances of course. Getting a spy cam is the only thing she can do so far as she can’t quit her job of course as much as she wants to. Ahhh, the agony of a working mom.

Anyway, before I head out, was cleaning my laptop and saw this photo of my little boy taken during his 2 day hospital stint last month. Poor baby!

Seems like I have no luck with digital cameras. After breaking one and getting an LX3 for replacement, looks like I’ll be needing a new one again. Uh-oh. This time, I’ll make sure to really scout around well and read for reviews first before I finally purchase. Any recommendations? I want something compact and can shoot vivid photos without having to use manual settings. I am a point and shoot person all the way. With two active kids (photo below), I don’t have time to set or change settings. Believe me – no time!

As I have blogged here, we are relocating in a condo in a week or two so I’m uber busy sorting out the stuff we are taking with us and those I am putting up for storage in the meantime. Its no easy task I’m telling you. We have TONS of stuff! I’ve never been so stressed – ever. My eldest crying over her pink curtains we are leaving behind is making me.this.close to losing it. Really. I hope we pass this tiring and difficult stage of moving soon. After 10 months again, lol! Anyway, in the meantime, anyone interested withHon office furniture? I’ve got a few pieces.

Senior Kinder

Here’s my Senior Kinder this school year with her new uniform that can probably last until she’s grade 2, haha! The skirt is too long, right? She’s a very eager SK student and wakes up 6am on the dot every day. She refuses to use any other bag except her Tiana bag seen on this photo. Yes, she’s into The Princess and the Frog phase right now. I’m pretty sure in a month or two though, she’ll move to a new addiction just like how she had forgotten Dora, Nemo and Cinderella – her past loves. Lately, she has been insisting on wanting me to take her to school everyday which is why I am always busy again. She’s so big for her age that she’s actually the second to the last kid on the line in school during the flag ceremony. She’s growing too fast and I can’t keep up. I’d stop here before I get any more emotional. Let me look for hydroxycut online for the husband instead. Sniff sniff.

1. When it’s quiet at home, it only means one thing – kids are asleep!
2.Kids getting sick on and off in what seems like a month.
3. My heart is has never been genuinely happy .
4.My birthday month is over, its already July.
5. In the town where I was born some 30 years ago, people cooked really well.
6.Always making his family top priority is something I really love about my significant other / friend.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to finding the best fat burner online, tomorrow my plans include taking kid 1 to the doctor for check up and Sunday, I want to stay home and relax!
