In the ten days my sister in law was here, we managed to take her to Jon’s and my favorite resto in Tagaytay – Antonio’s. You see, we had so much plans for her vacation including a Bora or HK trip but tight schedue didn’t permit us to go. Well, add the fact that my SIL’s passport was at the US Embassy the whole time for her working visa processing so even if she wanted to go to HK, we just couldn’t. We had to do with whats nearby instead. The most important thing anyway was for her to spend time with her niece and nephew.

So one Saturday, we all trooped to Tagaytay. We had lunch at Antonio’s first -

Then to Highlands we went -

Now, look at me in this pic. Deceiving, huh? Is just me or did I really lose a little weight? If I did, then the apidexin scam isn’t really true. Instead, the diet pills aren’t really going to give you results instantly but they will eventually. That’s good enough for me.

… we decided to go to Tagaytay Highlands as it has been a while since we last went. Sayang ang membership, hehe. It was Mateo’s first time to go can you believe it? He’s turning one this month already. I used to think he was too small but now, he’s big enough! Just look at the photos below. Weather was perfect and a bit chilly because its “ber” month I guess. Traffic wasn’t bad at all too, only minor glitches, there was an rv being towed, thanks to rv towing and it didn’t last long before they could get the rv out of the way.

All in all, we had a good time. My in laws were with us this time by the way.

Now that the little boy is one, I think we’d frequent Highlands again since we can bring him along already.  I bet it won’t be long when he can run around too like his achie.

May 1 – the gang trooped to Antonio’s Fine Dining and boy oh boy, did our kids make a scene! Haha. The kids were complete – Sophia, Marla, Migs, Summer and Sage so imagine how noisy and “gulo” they were.  Sorry to those who were there on a date.

After a hearty lunch of soups, salads, steaks and desserts, we headed to Highlands of course.

We had dinner at Highlands China Palace after.

It was a great day, a holiday definitely well spent. 

Off to looking at stereo cabinet online now. The husband has been wanting to have one for quite some time already.  I hope I find a great deal.

A good friend of mine who is based in California went home to celebrate her daughter’s birthday last month.  Too bad I wasn’t able to grace the party as it was the same day I took Mateo to the hospital for labs and test needed for his circumcision.  I have yet to see the party photos but I bet party was great.

Anyway, I’m glad though that  my US based friend and other friend from Pampanga were able to attend my kids’ party last Sunday. To top that, we were able to spend some time together as they stayed here in our house for two days.  I took them to Highlands and we all had fun of course, especially the kids!  The mommies (us) talked nonstop about everything and anything! From past experiences to parties to shopping for sale items to kids and hubby stories. It was great! I hope to get to spend time with them again soon. See you in LA, Anet!

Sophia attended Tagaytay Highlands’ Trick or Treat Event last November 1. This was unplanned as we received the invitation a few days before the event so I didn’t have any costume prepared for the little girl. I just made her wear the Cinderella gown she wore for my cousin’s birthday made by Prim of Baby Fashionista.

Before heading to Highlands, we had lunch first at Antonio’s.

She went horseback riding after as usual but she was complaining of her horse’s hard saddle. I’m now thinking, since she’s very much into riding horses, maybe we should get her a saddle of her own that she can use anytime and everytime she goes horseback riding. I saw a couple of affordable english saddles online anyway.

The little girl was so tired after but she was very happy to take home a lot of goodies. Until next year!

We were in Tagaytay Highlands again with friends last weekend and I must say that among our trips there, this was the one we and Sophia enjoyed the most. We took some friends with us thats why and Sophia had a blast with her playmates!

The kids had so much fun playing in the indoor playground and horseback riding while the daddies spent the day playing airsoft and table tennis. We, the mommies, were content on making chika at the club house eating Halo-Halo and Ice Cream.

We spent the night at Canyon Woods after. The contractor friend of Jon also showed us some model units he was selling and if only budget wasn’t an issue, we would have wanted to purchase one! The three bedroom property he showed was so nice! The units were meticulously made and the materials used were all of top quality and were given detailed attention like the use of Schlage Hardware. The units were even overlooking a pool! Nice, nice, nice…..

I hope we win the lottery soon! LOL.
