week update

I’ve got two things off my to do list this week. I’m done with my monthly grocery shopping last Monday which wasn’t really a pleasant experience (lol) and just today, I met with my cousin who is getting married for my gown measurements and Sophia’s too. I saw the picture of how our gowns would look like and I got really excited. NICE! I can’t wait :) I did however told the designer that I might get pregnant any time now (yeah right!) so I wanted room for alteration especially sa boobs area LOL.
Highlight of the day was, finally after such a long long long time, I was able to meet my cousin’s “Doc” – future husband. And I must say, “doc” is very nice and my cousin really looked happy. You see, Tina and I are of same age. She’s just a few months older so we pratically grew up together. We had our share of fights when we were kids which makes me laugh now every time I remember. Nagsabunutan pa nga kami dati over a Barbie Doll, haha. But admittedly, Tina is the nicer cousin, no contention on that. Maldita kase talaga ako, lol. We stayed together in one roof when we were in college and these were the times that we really got closer. She knows almost all my dirty secrets (lol) and I know hers also of course. We had lots of adventures together too – from our first yosi experience to being CPK addicts to shopping sprees and a whole lot more. I truly treasure the time we spent together because I found more than a cousin in her, I found a bestfriend and a sister. Although we don’t see each other a lot lately because we took different paths in life, we both know that we can always count on each other anytime.
Anyway, back to my weekly to do’s. Tomorrow, will pay all house bills and buy Sophia’s shoes for her Halloween Costume. I also need to get my shopping fix for the month :)

don’t laugh at ….

my very first lay-out, please. As I brought out my art supplies for Sophia’s project, I saw the scrapbooking starter kit I bought a long time ago and I decided to try it since we (Jon, Sophia and I) stayed home all day on a weekend today. The daddy got sick as soon as the little one got well. So ayan, napa-scrap tuloy ako ng di oras, lol.
All I did was to practically paste lang everything, hahaha. I used the very first picture I got my hands on. Na-excite eh ;p Sophia was two months old here by the way.

the tsismosa in me is back

My monthly supply of YES mag is here already care of my MIL. And because of what I read here from Apol’s blog, I was so excited to open it and read up on Pops’ revelations. The tsismosa in me just can’t wait any longer. LOL.
Gosh, I’ve got to give it to this woman. (I was never a fan of Pops by the way). IF all she said were all true, naku, we need to build her a statue. Grabe. If you want to know what I’m talking about. Go grab yourself a copy and I’m sure you’ll be as shocked as me. Ibang level what she went through, I swear. And I would have wanted to die too if the same thing happened to me.
On to Martin and Katrina’s romance naman, I swear ibang level din. They surely must really be so much in love with each other to have to go through what they did. My Gawd, their love story can’t be rivaled by any of the Koreanovelas I’ve watched to this day, LOL.
Honestly, I almost can’t believe what I was reading. The point where Pops even met with Katrina’s mom and all (aside form the conversation with Katrina and her dad)? Oh, it was just too much. Di ko kaya yun!
I feel for her. Now I know where she’s coming and why she can’t seem to get over the whole thing. I just hope she finds true happiness now.
And lastly (but definitely not the least because it is the WORST thing your husband can tell you), the “YOU’RE NOT THE ONE” line? Oh, I swear I almost fell off my chair. Di kaya ng powers ko!

agree?

eye-candies

My newest eye-candies …. *bigbigbigGRIN*

Which is which :)

kikay blog

So okay, I am setting up (I’m reviving a old blogger account) a “kikay” blog for Sophia and I, but are we kikay enough? Well, it depends how you define kikay actually but we do love to dress up anyway so I guess we are *wink*. We or more of I, are not really into what’s “uso” (the in thing) because I’m a very boring dresser I tell you. I almost always stick to the basics and I like it that way. It may be outdated to some but that’s where I’m most comfortable in and I know I damn look good on it no matter what, LOL. Most importantly, Jon prefers it that way too :p He’s really not attracted to trendy outfits. This also goes for Sophia where the daddy prefers the little girl to dress up in basics like the mommy :)
You’ll most likely see me in capris and shirts whenever I’m hiting the mall or anywhere near lang. Capris and shirts are my staples. Next would probably be jeans. I rarely really dress up, only when there are occassions to attend to. But I do love to shop, shop, shop and shop some more to my husband’s dismay, LOL.
On to Sophia, the little girl probably has more than enough clothes to wear in her lifetime, HAHAHA. But the mommy can’t stop buying! (to my husband’s dismay once again, LOL) I always knew that having a little girl will make me go broke, LOL. There are just so many cute outfits for little girls out there that I simply can’t resist. So I make up all the excuses I could think of to justify why I need to buy, buy, buy and buy some more :D
So will see if this kikay blog push through :) –> walang paid opps dito if ever for a breather naman, hahaha. was thinking it’ll mostly be about our purchases, must buy lists, our outfits, drool worthy stuff, our fave things ….. naku, it’ll be picture heavy i bet.

a dslr camera is not for me….yet?

Just when almost everybody already owns a dslr camera, here I am just acquaiting myself with it. Jon asked me to look around for one for him to use with his pigs. Yes, his pigs, lol. He’s planning to have brochures made and he wants a camera that will give justice daw to how good his pigs look :p
So anyway, there I was roaming around the mall, while Sophia was in school, looking for these cameras. I think because I’m not “really” interested, I didn’t even know where to look. My idiocy had the best of me haha. I ended up looking at Computer Shops, tama ba yun??? There was a store I checked that had gadgets too but they don’t have these cameras. So, I gave up. Called Jon and said, wala akong nakita to which he blurted out, “Impossible!” Did I check at Automatic Center daw ba or any other shop selling appliances? Oo nga naman! I’m so stupid, or better yet, uninterested :p
So there with Sophia in two, we trooped to Abenson and saw a Canon 400D or as I checked is also known as Canon Rebel xti. It was priced at P43, 500. Honestly, I’m still not interested for some reason. Ewan ko ba. I know it really takes good and quality pictures but naman, its too bulky to bring around, ang mahal pa. I will probably end up not using it at all coz I can’t carry it around in my bag like my old trusty Canon point and shoot camera.
On a second thought, why am I even bothering thinking if I’ll be able to use it or not e di naman yun akin if ever?! Duh!
Will I be a convert? Let’s see … I doubt it though … but you’ll never know :)
