Every Afternoon.

This is the scene every afternoon in our house – the kids playing at our mini playground. We all can’t wait until the little boy is big enough to walk and run around with his achie. I bet it will be a riot – a happy one at that.

Simply looking at them is bliss. People who don’t have kids yet won’t probably understand but those that do I’m sure can relate. Kids are every parent’s everything. Agree?

I’m getting all mushy here and I don’t know why. Lack of sleep, maybe? Haha. The little boy has colds again so he hasn’t been sleeping well at night. So you see, been awake most nights lately which is why I got to blog a little and was even able to check out Titan luggage. Downside is, I think I’m going to get sick now. Ugh!

Let’s swim!

My daughter loves to swim. And since we don’t have a pool in the house, she has to make do with our tiny tub, haha. Of course, swimming in a tub is no excuse not to wear a swimming outfit, right? So here she is, in her swimsuit and all on a lazy Monday morning. :)

Now, imagine if we do have a pool in the house. You think it’ll be worth it? I bet! I’d probably even join the little girl, haha. Or on a second thought, I probably won’t as I am afraid of the sun bwahahaha. Let me just stay on the pool furniture then while watching the little girl enjoy the pool. Yeah, wishful thinking! LOL.

Home Alarm.

About a year ago, Jon and I decided to invest in a home alarm system. We’ve heard so much horror stories of houses being burglarized and worst, the owners / occupants being killed during the process so we had ours installed. To date, we personally know of three families who had burglar attacks in their homes. Its really alarming and scary. Although we have very tight security in the village, we still opted to shell out money for the alarm system. Wouldn’t you for your own peace of mind? Here’s what ours look like …

We’ve had our share of false alarms, more than a share I think, ang daming times pala, haha. But we don’t mind at all. Better safe than sorry.

I need a new sink.

I love to cook. Although I’m not really good at it, I still love to try! Last Christmas, I did almost all the cooking. Although the dishes I whipped were nothing really fancy, I’m still proud as they tasted good. Well, the husband said so and I believe him. LOL.

It has been ages since the last time I cooked and used my kitchen actually as I have just given birth a month ago. And since my helpers use the dirty kitchen when cooking, nobody knew that my kitchen sink was broken and already needs replacement. So now I am looking at Copper Kitchen Sinks over the net as I have read good feedback about Copper Sinks. And style wise, I think, a Copper Sink will be a nice touch to my very modern kitchen. I hope I could find and order one online before New Year’s Eve as I am planning on hosting a small party for friends on New Years Eve. I’ll do the cooking again, of course. Wish me luck!

Early Christmas Gift(s).

Santa has been extra generous. He was also a week and a half early in giving the little girl one of her many gifts this Christmas. Look!

It now completes the set. :)

My gift has arrived too aside from the digital frame I requested and got early last week. Will post it next with a photo too of course. :D

One Sunday.

Days before I gave birth, Jon, the little girl and I were all over the place looking for a theater like chair for Jon’s office. He recently replaced his 32 inch LCD TV with a bigger plasma thats why. The smaller LCD is now in Mateo’s room, the nursery downstairs. Here’s the daddy and the little girl trying one of the chairs we saw after we heard the Sunday mass …

And the “ate”.

We also saw some snow chains but of course we don’t need any so we didn’t bother to take time to look. We didn’t take the chair by the way. We instead got the black one – a La-Z-Boy wannabe hahaha.

Our Mooncake Festival.

We celebrated our Mooncake Festival with friends last Saturday. Thanks to Jacqui for organizing it. And since it was Jon who won the grand prize last year, we were in charge of the food. Anyway, here are some photos I grabbed from a friend’s multiply account.

We finished really late and I wasn’t able to sleep after, ugh! I hope I won’t develop acne in time for my mom’s 50th birthday party this Friday.
