Trip to Manila Ocean Park.

I am swamped with work. Right after Mateo’s party last Saturday, I found myself with a workload higher than Mt. Everest so I haven’t been able to blog real life stuff. Anyway, before I go on with work again and canvass rv insurance on the side, let me blog about Sophia’s field trip to Manila Ocean Park first.

It was both our first time so I share the same excitement as the little girl. I guess being a mom is like that, you get excited over little things your kid is excited about. Are you like that? Or is it just me?

On to the field trip. Here’s our photo as soon as we arrived.

Touching the starfish. I remember when we were in Sydney and Singapore, she refused to touch a starfish even if we bribe her. Now she’s really all grown up. I won’t start on the time flies really fast line again, haha! But seriously, it does! Grabe.

The very reason why she was so excited with the trip – NEMO!

Going around the park was fast so we were done by lunch time. We headed straight to the mall after for some last minute party shopping for Mateo’s birthday.  Will blog about the party next. Watch out.

My Nightingale in Action.

Finally I get time to blog about Sophia’s Literary Program in school. This post has been long over due but better late than never. So here it is before I forget again and lose my time looking for a business plan consultant for the husband.

For their literary program in school this year, Sophia is to recite and sing “The Nightingale” with her friend Eliza. Of course I was one excited mommy and made sure she memorized her lines weeks before the program. She was very cooperative and would even be the one to remind me to go through her lines all the time. She knew her lines by heart so I wasn’t bothered a bit when she walked up on stage. Really. And knowing my daughter, stage fright doesn’t actually exist. :P

Let me share some photos.

And it was finally her turn.

Daddies and mommies were all so proud seeing our kids perform their piece.  We all went home with a smile on our faces.

Lets go Hawaiian!

November was filled with parties and boy was it fun! The last we attended last Sunday was no exemption, it was a Hawaiian 7th Birthday Party of the twins Allysa and Allison. Sophia and I tried our best to dress up for it as indicated in the cute invite we got.

Here’s the best Hawaiian look I can come up with last minute for the little girl.

Hawaiian Party

Sans the dad who was watching the much awaited Pacquio-Cotto fight somewhere in The Fort with his friends, me and my little girl still had fun. Games and food, what can go wrong?

We even had our share at the photo booth. Sophia insisted to put on the pink wig, look.

Now is the time I need you to say that the slimming pills are working on me. :D That dress I’m wearing my sister in law bought last year I never got to wear. It didn’t fit.  Until now!  Spell happy – ME!

Little Dalaga at Dom’s Party.

Before I find myself drowning with work and to dos like looking for Outer Banks vacation homes availabilities, let me just share with you photos of my little girl during Dom’s 1st birthday bash last November 8 at Makati Sports Club. Let me just say – I LOVE her dress and so does everyone who was present at the party. ;P

She looks so dalaga don’t you agree?

Dom's 1st Birthday Party

I always find myself saying – where did all the years go? She used to be this small little girl who can’t even manage to join party games but look at her now. She’d die for a prize, literally. LOL.

Dom's 1st Birthday Party

Party was fab and we all enjoyed it. Thanks for inviting us Mommy Peachy!

My bestfriend’s Birthday.

Last Saturday was my bestfriend Marla’s 4th birthday. She had a Hannah Montana party at Fridays in Trinoma. It was a very long drive from home but it didn’t matter. I was uber excited on the way. Good thing traffic wasn’t really bad so we were there right on time and even ahead of the birthday celebrant herself. :)

Since we had nothing to do just yet, we took photos first. Here’s my mom and my little brother. They look alike I think while people say I look like my dad. My mom lost weight haven’t you noticed? :P

Marla's 4th Birthday Party

Here’s a photo of us three. My dad isn’t really fond of having his picture taken especially in public places so we let him be. :D

Marla's 4th Birthday Party

How do you guys like my outfit by the way?

And finally the birthday girl arrived, meet my bestfriend – Marla. Don’t you just love her boots? I do! My mom said she already ordered me two pairs and both arriving real soon. Can’t wait!

Marla's 4th Birthday Party

Of course I played and joined the games like there was no tomorrow. Can you spot me?

And then party was over. I had a blast! Before heading home, since it was our first time at Trinoma (yes it is!), we went around first because mommy was looking for some outdoor fireplace display. We didn’t find one though. We went home after and traffic was bad.  I was do tired that I fell asleep in the car all the way home.  Tiring but fun day it was!

Highlands Again for Mateo.

We’ve been taking Mateo out a lot lately since he now enjoys seeing new places and even behaves very well while traveling. He’s content sitting on his car seat you know and I am one proud mommy! Now this makes me uber excited for our US trip soon that I can’t stop planning for our next, haha! Say orlando vacations perhaps? I hope!

Anyway, back to what I was saying, the little boy has finally been going out a lot. When my family came to visit, we went to Tagaytay Highlands again. Here are some photos.

We went to Nuvali after for dinner. Also checked out Debenhams’ and Marks and Spencer’s outlet stores at Paseo de Sta. Rosa. Tiring but fun day it as.

Trick or Treating at Sofitel.

Last October 31, together with friends and their kids, we went trick or treating at Sofitel Hotel. We first had a sumptuous buffet lunch at Spiral and were we full, of course!

Here’s Jon and I while enjoying our lunch.

The hotel had plenty of advertisers and we took home lots of loots from chocolates to biscuits to gift certificates to packs of juices and even disposable shoe covers would you believe? Kids had fun and enjoyed trick or treating and the magic show too. Will definitely be back next year.
