Goings on.

I realized just now that I haven’t blogged about our last HK trip yet. Oh bother. This is what happens when you’ve got too many stuff going on while your to do list is piling and you actually don’t know how and where to begin. I’m hoping I can find the time to document our latest adventure soon – Mateo’s first out of the country travel and Sophia’s 4th visit to Disneyland.

In the meantime, let me just share, the husband left for Barcelona today. We took him to the airport this morning and he won’t be back until next week. This will be the first time we’ll be separated for more than three days. Sad.

I’m sure the kids will miss him and so will he. As for me, I plan to keep myself busy just so days will pass without me noticing. Retail therapy to the rescue! :P Well, seriously though, I need to hit the mall for plasma mounts.

Right now, I’m waiting for my sister to arrive. She’ll keep me company while the hubby is away.

Are they working?

The said to be best weight loss pills in town? :P

A friend noticed how I look thinner during our The Picture Company Photo Shoot the other day.  To my delight of course. :)

Anyway, speaking of the photo shoot, we had so much fun! Although Mateo didn’t want to smile and was so into his thumb sucking while his achi was very well in her element, pictures came out nice still IMO.  I love love them!  Already posted the pictures on my facebook and flickr account so I’ll just leave you with this family pic of ours where I looked really thin?!? Totoo?? :P

Weight issues.

Jon and I are making a pact. We are now dead serious on losing weight, both of us. Fact is, I am making the diet menu now for one whole month. I hope that with our special diet and a fat loss pill, we’ll be close to our goal of getting into our dream weight. You see, both of us are really frustrated. We both can’t fit into our old clothes anymore. So we really need to do this. Besides, it’ll be for our health too.  We are pork eaters and are so into all things greasy/oily and it has got to stop – now.

Wish us luck!

Just so you know, we are researching about South Beach Diet in the pic below. LOL.

Plan for the day.

Nothing actually but to bum around the house, haha. How I wish!!!

Seriously, I need to go back to the grocery today to exchange Mateo’s formula. You see, I was such in a hurry last Monday while grocery shopping that I actually got the wrong milk!  I accidentally grabbed Enfapro when Mateo’s milk should be Enfapro A. The packaging was very confusing kasi. They almost looked the same. The latter only had a little gold label which isn’t really noticeable. Oh well, I guess I’m getting old or whatever. Taking adult diapers home instead of baby diapers though is worst, right? Haha

I am off to meet with someone after.  You see, Jon’s designated me to be his part time purchaser starting last week (with a fee, of course aka salary complete with bonuses and commissions!) so I am officially not jobless/bum anymore. Haha.   Although I love that I don’t have to worry about anything except for the kids and the household, I welcome such change.  I’ll be a little busy I guess so blogging will have to take a back seat? We’ll see. :)

My LX3.

I finally got myself a new camera last Saturday. Thanks to the husband of course.  I was pretty excited but to this day, haven’t used it yet.  I’ve been pretty busy with some house stuff – new helpers to train and decluttering our room.  It feels so good to get rid of stuff lying around unused for some time already. Hay, ang gaan ng pakiramdan and ang gaan din sa mata!

Back to my camera, I was looking around the web for ellipticals when I came across a site that sells these accessories for my LX3. I likey!

Now, I badly want a wrist strap too as the LX3 comes with a neck strap which I obviously don’t like to wear :D

Virus Scare.

News this morning confirmed that a 10 year old girl is being treated for AH1N1 virus in a hospital in Manila. Scary as it may sound, DOH said that there is no cause for panic. Rather, everybody should be extra careful and cautious (shouldn’t we be all the time?). Hand sanitizers and alcohol should come in handy now.

The AH1N1 scare have caused so much for people (like us) who usually take advantage of the summer vacation to have a short getaway with the whole family. To date, I know four families (excluding ours) who have canceled their trips abroad because of the virus. Well, we all believe that its better to be safe than sorry alright. As for my in laws who are now in the US, they left before AH1N1 (still called Swine Flu then) has made its presence felt. They flew to US to attend my sister in law’s graduation when the virus has said to hit California and New York (and now other cities and states too). They were supposed to have a side trip to New York for some New York Sightseeing being offered by CitySights NY, a recognized leader in New York City sightseeing that has hop-on, hop-off bus tours operated on a fleet of 60 new double-decker buses designed with top-deck-only seating to provide tourists with the best possible views of New York City’s attractions, neighborhoods and places of interest but they canceled last minute. They opted to stay in Florida and now in Washington where my sister in law moved for work. They didn’t want to risk their health too, of course.

They’ll be coming home next month and hopefully by that time AH1N1 would be out of the scene already so we could take our HK trip with them.  Sophia’s itching to go to Disneyland (again) while I am itching to SHOP and pig out!

Mall Day.

One hot summer day, I decided to take the kids malling.  Wasn’t a good idea but I so wanted to eat at Tony Roma’s thats why. :D Bad mommy!

Here are the kids before we left the thouse.

And here they are at Tony Roma’s while we were waiting for our food.

It was so hot! We only managed to buy some bread at Breadtalk and check out Panerai 1950 watches before finally deciding to go home. I’m really not a fan of the summer season. I actually hate it.
