New Cut.

I am to write something about disability insurance but I can’t help but share my little boy’s new look first. Jon and I call it “bad to the bones” look. Haha. I like it though. Its growing on me every single day and I find it comfy too because it has been ultra hot lately. Aside from that, I find it easier to shampoo and rinse also! LOL.

Here he is …

What do you think? Do you like it?

First Time.

Believe it or not, it was Mateo’s first time to hit the groceries some two weeks back. For some reason, I never noticed all these time that I wasn’t able to take him with me unlike his “achie” who was always with me when I do my grocery shopping back then. Anyway, on his first, he enjoyed riding the cart of course. Just look at him.

And of course the “achie” would want to ride the cart too so here they are.

Being the big girl that she is, she has occupied the whole cart which leaves no more space for the stuff we’ll buy so we needed another cart for the groceries. Having two kids in tow doing my grocery shopping was overwhelming though. It was a riot! I actually almost forgot to get my fave age spot removal. Looks like I won’t be doing (bringing both kids) this again anytime soon. LOL.

A Taste of Fun Ranch

… for the little guy. It was his first time and he was very cautious at first. Didn’t want to walk around and touch anything but he eventually settled in and in no time was all over the place like his achie. They spent a good one hour in the playhouse while I was busy searching the net for an online shop where I can buy differin for my recent acne breakout. This is the very reason why I hate summer. I start having bad breakouts because of the heat. :( Ugly ugly sight!

Anyway, here are some photos I manage to take. They aren’t a lot and of good quality too, sorry. It was very hard to make the two look at the camera at the same time. It was frustrating!

Meet my Kids.

Photo taken the exact day my eldest turned 5. This was before we leave the house for Fun Ranch. :)

Lets talk about Sophia first -

She has matured tremendously. She can read a book by herself and even write short stories too in her diary. Lately, she has grown tired of Cinderella and Hannah Montana while her obsession for Tiana of The Princess and The Frog grows deeper and deeper by the day. Simply looking at her, you’d think she’s 7yo or even an 8yo as she’s very tall and has lost the baby fats already. In no time I’m sure she’d be all grown up and would even be needing the best acne treatment there is when she starts to have breakouts. We all went through that stage, right? Or did you not? I did.

For summer, I’m thinking of enrolling her to Trumpets Playshop Children’s Theater and some art classes too as per her request. Ballet is on our list also. Called Casa Musica also for possible violin lessons but I was told to wait another year. So you see, her summer will be full of activities that she won’t have time to get bored, I hope.

On to Mateo -

At one year and almost four months, he has mastered the art of walking and running. And was I worried before of him not walking? Duh. Although I still have to understand what he’s saying aside from mama, daddy and achie, I am not worried – yet. :D He’s still a thumb sucker and so far, he’s been a very happy baby still. He eats about almost anything we give him and oh are we pleased. Hopefully he won’t grow up to be a picky eater like his achie. We rarely take him out but since he’s already past 1yo, I vow to let him go out with us more often now.

He’s starting playschool this summer at Toddlers Unlimited. Same school we sent his achie to before. I am excited of course. I can’t wait to see how he learns to socialize and be with other kids his age.

So there. My kids. My pride and joy.

First Encounter.

Mateo’s first ever encounter with a mascot was during his achie’s Father’s Day celebration in school. Unlike other toddlers, he didn’t get scared with the sight of a giant fluffy walking thing infront of him. He was very eager to touch and was very curious. Just look at him …

I am sorting out the tons of photos on my laptop and I saw this photo. Hence the post. I am slowly starting to clear my to do list one by one and I’m so proud. This sorting out of photos is the longest to do. I have hundreds that’s why. I hope by tomorrow I’ll be done so I can move to my next task. But before that, I have to check out about the colon cleansing pills my cousin is recommending for my mom. Gotta do that first – my note to self.

He’s finally walking!

At 1 year 2 and a half months, the little guy finally had the courage to take his first steps unassisted. The next thing we knew, on the second day I think, he was already running and is all over the place, haha! Happy happy mommy here. :D

Here’s our little rascal.

Now I am off to the mall to get him walking shoes. I’m obviously an excited mommy can you tell? Dropping by the drugstore too to get some prenatal vitamins to give away in the Medical Mission my cousin in organizing in my mom’s hometown for my uncle’s candidacy. My own little way of helping the campaign. Later!

Priceless.

One day after canvassing for ipods, I finally found the perfect swing seat for the little guy. Been looking for one for ages and its always unavailable or out of stock. Was even tempted to purchase the one I saw in Guam but a bit bulky so decided otherwise. Anyway, here look at the little guy enjoying it very much. His smile is priceless, don’t you just agree?
