a dog?!?!?!

Gosh.

You all know I’m not fond of dogs, right? The husband is though. He is out right now meeting up a friend to get a Miniature Bull Terrier. Whatta?!?!?!?!?!

This is WAR.

If you’re wondering, here’s how the dog looks like. I actually just googled some pics.

random pics

Okay okay, I’m so cheap, haha. Was tinkering with my new toy last night and here are some pics we took with its built in cam while watching the news (on Valentines Day!). (pagbigyan na ha! hehe) The little girl had a video too - singing and dancing but its too long so I’ll just leave you with these pics :D

our Sunday

Our Sunday started early. Sophia woke up early thats why. The dad and the little girl took a bath together and off we went to church to hear mass. We decided not to bring a yaya so I was preparing myself for a stressing game of tug of war at the church, LOL. But surprisingly, the little girl was behaving so well. She was just sitting beside me but wouldn’t stop whispering to me. She’s tell me every little thing that bothers her like why the baby at the back won’t stop crying, why other kids were running around etc. Nevertheless, she was such an angel during the mass so I couldn’t really complain.

We had lunch after the mass at Dads-Saisaki-Kamayan in ATC. Still, the little girl was so cooperative. We just promised to let her ride the carousel afterwards which we certainly did after eating. We rode, rode and rode some more, LOL. The little girl was delighted of course. After all the riding and the playing, we headed home.

Simple as it was, I’d say its still pretty special. Bonding time for the three of us. We’d probably do this more often - go out yayaless.

leaving!

Oh girls, this is it. We’re really leaving for OZ land, LOL. See you all when I get back. I’m going to miss bloghopping and paid blogging of course :D I will try to sneak in a few posts (if I could!)as we’re bringing Jon’s laptop.
My ultimate wish, I’m hoping to bump into Wentworth Miller at the Sydney Airport as he usually goes to Sydney daw to visit his family bwahahahahhahahahaha. Loka loka ano? I even told Jon about it and I said he better take a good pic of me and Scofiled if ever and alam niyo ba ano sabi sa kin? Siya din daw, bwahahahahaha. Weird couple noh? LOL
Ciao, everyone!

shopping money

Oh, this is something. Jon and I have been spending the last half an hour bargaining on how much pocket money he’s going to give me for our OZ trip, LOL. He bids, I counter bid haha. I swear, I’m so good at this. In short, I managed to get away with an awesome amount, woohoo!!!

things to do

With Jon sick and Sophia who just got well, I’ve been stucked here at home since yesterday. I’ve got nothing better to do so I’ll just blog to death, LOL.
I couldn’t think of anything better to write so I decided to make a list of things I need to accomplish this week. A reminder of some sort for a very forgetful mommy like me.
  • I need to buy Sophia black ballet shoes to match her bumble bee costume care of Prim of Babyfashionista. I’ve been putting off buying the shoes since last week but I badly need to get one now because will send pa the shoes to Prim for the final bumble bee touch.
  • I have to make a day free to go all the way to Fairview for our (Sophia and I) measurements for my cousin’s wedding this coming January.
  • Get Jon an International Driver’s Permit for our Oz trip as we’re planning on renting a car to get around in Goldcoast with ease.
  • Buy prizes for our version of “Mooncake Festival” on Friday with the gang here in the house. I miss those guys! And yes, Jackie I need to see your ROLEX!
  • Finalize menu with caterer for the Friday get together - mooncake.
  • Renew my super expired driver’s license! — TOP PRIORITY!
  • Have Sophia’s nextbase portable dvd fixed. We’ll be bringing it with us during the trip pang-aliw sa 8hr flight sa little girl.
  • Do the usual, pay bills (since 1st week of the month na, October! can you believe?!) and monthly grocery shopping.
  • Hmmm. I hope I didn’t forget anything.

OH, the most important of all … GET PREGNANT!!! lol.

booked, finally!

Finally! We’re booked! Not with my first choice of hotels though but good enough for me nevertheless. It’s spring in Sydney now so that explains why most hotels are fully booked. As I researched, the best time to visit Sydney is really during the spring because of the chilly weather - baguio type weather :)
Hay, I’m so excited. We’re leaving October 30 - yep this is the earliest we could get so baby number 2 is defintely going to be made in the Philippines *crossfingers* LOL.

no bookings still

And I thought acquiring the OZ visa was the hardest part …. wrong!

We’re still not booked as of this time. Sigh. First, we had a hard time looking for flights because almost all direct flights are full. When we finally found slots, accomodation to my choice hotels are no longer available, even my second and third choices, no openings. Sigh again.

Now I’m crossing my fingers for Oct.30 departure. According to my agent, flights are okay, Goldcoast hotel is confirmed while Sydney hotel is pending for request but is most probably okay too. Hay hay hay…. I hope!

So ….. looks like baby number #2 (*crossfingers*) won’t be made in Australia after all, LOL.

on baby #2

It’s almost October and this means baby (#2) making for me and Jon. LOL. Jon and I, with all honesty, badly wants a baby boy this time around. I’ve read tips on the internet on the how to’s and whatnots when aiming for a boy :) I just don’t know how effective they really are though. Well, we will find out as we’re willing to try ALL of them out *winkwink*. According to the Chinese Calendar too whose accuracy others really swear by, I’m most likely to have a baby boy if we make “IT” by October. That’s the reason why I also planned the OZ trip on the same month :) Hay, OCness to the highest level diba? LOL
So as yo can see baby number two is really well planned and well thought of. We find it nothing wrong naman to follow such things as it really wouldn’t hurt us if we do. Now I just hope I really do get pregnant by next month :) *crossfingers*
All these are just merely our plans though. We are fully aware that it’s still all up to the BIG MAN up there for these plans to be realized. If they do or even if they don’t we would always still be thankful for He has provided our family with so much already and still continues to be extremely generous. *but…Lord, baby boy please????????* LOL.
Nah, a healthy baby is my ultimate wish and whether boy or girl, it’s going to be more than enough.
