SO BUSY!

Gosh, I am extremely busy!

I have been running errands here and there for days now and I am tired!

If I haven’t told you, Jon’s starting on a new business. A sideline of some sort and he’s driving me crazy. And I’m driving people crazy too, LOL! We are all cramming as his new “biz” is opening this coming Tuesday. I have ordered the tarps, streamers and all but now he wants posters, ugh! And leaflets too! Yeah, with just three days to go?!?! Goodness!

On top of these, another event I am busy with is my mom’s upcoming 5oth Birthday Party tomorrow. Ordered her cake, had her give aways delivered, followed up on her other suppliers and even purchased a 42 inch plasma for her computer room! Apparently, she can’t find the same deal/package as the one where Jon and I got our TVs from so she asked me to buy for her from the store here. Haaaaay….

And then lets not forget Sophia. Since they are studying about community helpers, they went to a field trip last week at the Ayala Alabang Community Center to personally witness and see community helpers such as doctors, nurses and dentists in action. And just this morning, I was with her for her South Supermarket Field Trip. I took her to her pedia after for check up as she still has coughs and colds until now which is so depressing as it has been weeks! The doctor told me that there’s no need to worry though as its just a case of allergy rhinitis. Hay naku… Tomorrow, she needs to come to class in an office attire as Nursery classrooms will be transformed into offices of some sort. I swear, I almost got crazy looking for an outfit!!!

Now, as if these things aren’t enough to keep me so busy,  I still need to finish some tasks which are all expiring tomorrow, my mom’s party! On top of my list is to talk about Outer Banks rentals and I am going crazy thinking about it. I wish I couls stop time, just this time, please? :D

Our Mooncake Festival.

We celebrated our Mooncake Festival with friends last Saturday. Thanks to Jacqui for organizing it. And since it was Jon who won the grand prize last year, we were in charge of the food. Anyway, here are some photos I grabbed from a friend’s multiply account.

We finished really late and I wasn’t able to sleep after, ugh! I hope I won’t develop acne in time for my mom’s 50th birthday party this Friday.

Updates.

It’s weekend once again. I hope you guys are so far enjoying yours. Ours, I bet we will. :D

Just some updates.

Yesterday, the little girl had no class as it was Teacher’s Day so we went to Lil Fun Runch at Westgate in the afternoon to meet her old classmates from Toddlers Unlimited. Too bad, Joaquin got sick so it was only Adie she met and played with at Active Fun. I had a blast catching up with Adie’s mom, Ria. We hope we can do the playdate again soon when the kids are complete. Sophia didn’t want to leave but I still needed to grab some grocery items so I made her to, only after having some nail art done. :D So kikay!

Was able to finish my grocery shopping a bit late so we got home late already. The dad was starving, haha. Wasn’t able to get the yaya acne solution again, ugh! Which reminds me, can you suggest the best acne treatment I can get for Sophia’s yaya? I have been really bothered with the acne she has been having on her face so I need to make her use some treatment already.

Today, we are expecting some friends over for our annual Mooncake Festival. Was able to order some food and I asked the husband to buy lechon from Elars later as he is on his way to Manila right now to have his Subaru serviced.

Our good friends (MArtin and Jacqui) are staying for the night so I am fixing my breakfast and lunch menu for tomorrow. The husband suggested to have Korean Beef Stew for lunch so I will oblige of course. After all, he only eats on weekends so I need to give in. :D

Sophia is so excited to see Marla. I bet she’ll be even delighted to find out that Marla is staying for the night. I hope their closeness continues to grow until they are older.

By Monday, Sophia will be back to school and I have got a TON of errands to run, mostly for other people, LOL.

Until then. Enjoy the weekend!

Wedding last Sunday.

Last Sunday, Jon and I attended a wedding at Blue Leaf.  Here are some of our pictures during the cocktails with our good friends Martin and Jacqui with their cutie daughter Marla.

Its my first time to see Blue Leaf and I already told Jon that Baby Bullet will celebrate his 1st birthday there. HAHA. Payag naman. :D

My mom and her furniture frenzy.

My mom is having her house renovated again, for the nth time. This current renovation however is in time for her 50th birthday celebration this coming October 10. Yes, my dear gorgeous mom is turning fifty. I am actually helping her plan for the party which is why I am so busy lately. Aside from the party details I am in charge of, she also has been bugging me to help her look for new Living Room Furniture that will complement her newly painted living room walls. And since she has her own office at home, she’s also planning on changing her Office Furniture this instant. Again, in time for her dinner party at home. If you know my mom, she’s really like that. She loves fixing up her house all the time even if it means spending a lot each time. It’s her hobby I guess and I wish I got her knack for decorating but unfortunately, I didn’t. I, most of the time, even plays the antagonist and keeps on telling her to stop always changing her furniture sets as its a waste of money which is why sometimes she keeps things from me. Just last week when Sophia and I visited, I was surprised to see that she has new Bedroom Furniture she ordered online. I guess, she’s really excited for her coming party which is why she’s all out decorating her house. I’ll let it pass now but she’ll hear from me soon.

Cinderella Sophia.

It was my cousin’s 7th birthday party last Sunday and kids were asked to come in their best fantasy costume. Well then, best daw. So here’s my little girl dressed as who else but her favorite Disney Princess of all time - Cinderella. I had her gown made by Prim and boy was I delighted. Loved it! I told Prim to make it simple as Jon thinks having a gown made for a party was OA and even reminded Sophia and I that it isn’t our party, we were merely guests. :D Oh well, fine fine fine. Prim made it as simple as possible and here is the outcome.

Meet Cinderella Sophia (as she wants to be called these days).

With my mom who is as sexy as ever and has been asked a lot of times by friends and relatives if she was taking Fenphedra which is branded as one of the best diet pills currently available.

After the party, the little girl keeps on telling me she wants a Cinderella Party of her own. She didn’t want to take off her gown too. She really loved it. She even sleeps beside it would you believe?

Our busy weekend.

Our family has been all over the place these past three days. It has been a very tiring but fun weekend nonetheless.

Friday, we were off to Pampanga to attend the fist birthday party of my good friend’s daughter at Grand Palazzo. It was a super fun party. Too bad I don’t have photos as I was too lazy to take out the camera. Blame my pregnancy on that, haha. Party ended a bit late so we were able to go home to my mom’s house late too. Sophia was dead tired.

Saturday morning was spent at my mom’s house while the afternoon was spent at King’s Royal Villas for a get together with my relatives from my mother’s side. Food was overflowing and kids were all over the place. I wasn’t informed by my mom though that the kids will go swimming so the little girl wasn’t prepared but that didn’t hinder her from swimming. She borrowed a swimsuit from her cousin Phoebe and voila, she was enjoying the waves at the pool in no time. I think she is really addicted to swimming as her world seemed to crumble when it was time for her to get out of the water. I wonder if there’s such thing as swimming addiction treatment as my daughter badly needs it, LOL. We went home a bit late again so Sophia was (again) dead tired.

The next day, Sunday, were off to Manila to attend a 3rd birthday party at KFC in Mandaluyong. We made it in time for the lunch treat and Sophia ( as usual) had the time of her life again partying with her friends Summer, Sage, Migs and Marla. After the party, we left the kids at Jackie’s house while mommies and daddies went to St. Luke’s Hospital to visit a friend who just gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Stayed there for a while chitchatting to the new mom and her tale while she ended up getting a CS. We got back to Jackie’s house at 7pm and we left again for a birthday dinner treat at Good Earth in Metrowalk. The kids were still having fun anyway so we managed to leave them again for good three hours. Besides, Sophia didn’t want to go home. She was having so much fun playing. By 10 pm, finally, it was time to to call it a day. We were bale to reach home at 10:30pm. Sophia as you have guessed was so dead tired and was sleeping the whole ride home.

Busy weekend, right?

Happy Birthday, Ama!

Jon’s “ama” celebrated her 80th birthday last Friday at Spirals in Sofitel Hotel. We had a sumptuous buffet that for the first time in weeks, after getting pregnant, I ate a lot and was so full. We got there a bit early so while waiting for the birthday celebrant, we went out to check out the view at the pool area and to see the sunset.

Here’s a photo of me and the little girl.

We haven’t gotten “ama” a birthday gift yet as I don’t know what to get her. Jon’s suggesting a bath lift which I think is a nice idea. I just hope I get to see one in our local stores.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Sophia!

birthday girl with her strawberry shortcake cake

My little girl celebrated her 3rd birthday yesterday together with her classmates at Toddlers Unlimited. I prepared a simple class party for her and I’m glad I did. As you all know, as I’ve written in my other blog, I had several party plans in mind but last minute decided on a class party. It was the best choice. Sophia was so happy to share her birthday celebration with her “friends” (what she calls her classmates).

missed coffee date

I missed the mommy bloggers’ coffee date yesterday :( Instead of trooping to Serendra, Jon, Sophia and I trooped to the pedia. Hay. Sophia’s cold and cough was getting worst that’s why. And after her hospital stint last October because of mild pneumonia, I am now very paranoid when the little girl develops some cough. I don’t take chances anymore. Doctor agad. Too bad it fell on the coffee day of my beloved mommy bloggers. Naku, I bet I missed a lot! Tsismisan niyo naman ako!!!! How was it? How were the kids?
