E cards.

Most of my high school friends are now living abroad so I hardly see them anymore. Well, actually, I haven’t really seen them for years now. We still do get in touch every once in a while though through phone calls and emails. This coming holidays, I am thinking of sending them Funny ecards for fun and to make up for lost time. We love kidding around you see and we have been friends because we we love fooling around when we were in high school. As they say, birds with the same feather flock together, and this is so true with us.

We are all mothers now by the way and sometimes its really hard to believe that we have grown so fast and matured now but I guess its really the way it is. Gone are our naughty days, LOL. I wonder if I should send them Naughty eCards though for old times sake. I bet they won’t mind. I’m sure they’ll be glad to hear from me nonetheless. At Vidigreet, one can send humorous e-cards for a variety of occasions. They even have Adult e Cards but I am sure veering away fro such for obvious reasons, haha.

Our busy weekend.

Our family has been all over the place these past three days. It has been a very tiring but fun weekend nonetheless.

Friday, we were off to Pampanga to attend the fist birthday party of my good friend’s daughter at Grand Palazzo. It was a super fun party. Too bad I don’t have photos as I was too lazy to take out the camera. Blame my pregnancy on that, haha. Party ended a bit late so we were able to go home to my mom’s house late too. Sophia was dead tired.

Saturday morning was spent at my mom’s house while the afternoon was spent at King’s Royal Villas for a get together with my relatives from my mother’s side. Food was overflowing and kids were all over the place. I wasn’t informed by my mom though that the kids will go swimming so the little girl wasn’t prepared but that didn’t hinder her from swimming. She borrowed a swimsuit from her cousin Phoebe and voila, she was enjoying the waves at the pool in no time. I think she is really addicted to swimming as her world seemed to crumble when it was time for her to get out of the water. I wonder if there’s such thing as swimming addiction treatment as my daughter badly needs it, LOL. We went home a bit late again so Sophia was (again) dead tired.

The next day, Sunday, were off to Manila to attend a 3rd birthday party at KFC in Mandaluyong. We made it in time for the lunch treat and Sophia ( as usual) had the time of her life again partying with her friends Summer, Sage, Migs and Marla. After the party, we left the kids at Jackie’s house while mommies and daddies went to St. Luke’s Hospital to visit a friend who just gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Stayed there for a while chitchatting to the new mom and her tale while she ended up getting a CS. We got back to Jackie’s house at 7pm and we left again for a birthday dinner treat at Good Earth in Metrowalk. The kids were still having fun anyway so we managed to leave them again for good three hours. Besides, Sophia didn’t want to go home. She was having so much fun playing. By 10 pm, finally, it was time to to call it a day. We were bale to reach home at 10:30pm. Sophia as you have guessed was so dead tired and was sleeping the whole ride home.

Busy weekend, right?

Sunday swimming.

Sophia and Marla had so much fun swimming last Sunday morning.  They were splashing in the cold water under the very hot sun for two hours while the mommies and daddies were busy chitchating over breakfast. Yes, a very late breakfast as we stayed up until 3am.

Here are some pics of the two.

Backgrounder: Marla is Martin’s daughter. Martin is Jon’s bestfriend. They are like brothers - will do anything for one another, yes, ANYTHING.  Even some unimaginable stuff brought about by their youth not so long ago.  But things have changed now. They are now both responsible husbands (to me and my Mareng Jackie) and dads.  Their ultimate wish is for Sophia and Marla to be the best of friends like them.
