Bonding Time.

Its bonding time for Jon and the little girl today as Sophia’s yaya is on a day-off so it was the husband who took the princess to school sans the driver. He’ll also be the one to pick her up of course after three hours and then they’ll be off to Manila to settle some stuff and have lunch. Isn’t that sweet?  I just hope the husband can stand the little girl and vice versa. LOL.  I hope too that dear husband can make Sophia eat lunch. That I will find out when they get home this afternoon.  :)

As for me, all I asked was for them to bring home Paella Negra from Las  Paellas. Yummy! Can’t wait. :)

By the way, tomorrow, it’ll be my time off. Its my check up and then I’ll head on over to the salon and the mall to buy our “babies” gifts for our Christmas Party on Saturday here at home.  I’m sure it’ll be a blast again just like last year and the year before, and the year before that.  Food this year is courtesy of CCME, thanks to MBAPs for introducing them to me during our MBAP Party.  Food from them is so sulit for the price.  :)

I’ll try to work on my very short and uneventful birthing story after this post. Hope Mateo won’t wake up anytime soon. I wish!

Oh, chocolates!

During times like this where getting three hours of sleep a day is something to be thankful already, I find myself indulging in my next favorite thing to do aside from sleeping – EATING. And what you may ask? These … the addicting melts in your mouth ROYCE Chocolates my in laws got from Singapore. Last week though, was able to buy from a local store – Konbini Store in Greenhills and the two boxes I got only lasted for, say, two days?! I now wonder how long these six boxes will last. :D

Hay, buti na lang di talaga ako tabain or else treadmills will be my new best friend. :D

Me and My Day.

I didn’t go to school with Sophia again today even if I planned on going as I needed to run some errands at the mall. I woke up with an aching back that’s why.  I have got a lot on my mind right now you see.  For one, I am still clueless for what venue to consider for the joint celebration of Sophia’s 4th birthday and Baby Bullet’s Baptism Party this March. Wack Wack Gold and Country Club’s Banquet Hall is fully booked for all Saturdays and Sundays of March already. Honestly, after finding out that slots were already taken and paid at that, for some reason, I kind of lost interest planning for the party. Hay…

On to other things, would you know where I can buy a formal maternity dress or gown? I have a wedding to attend to in two weeks time and I am too lazy to look around for something to wear. Maybe you know of a specific store or mall I can go to?  Let me know. :)

I am craving for “Chicharon Bulaklak” for lunch as of writing this. Hay, I wonder where I can buy one!

Anyway, will leave you with this, Sophia’s “baon” for school which she herself packed and chose from the pantry.

Hongkong Trip ’08 Day 1

We left the house at 5:30am to catch our 8am PAL flight. We were in the airport in no time. Checking in was a breeze. By 7:10am, we were at the Mabuhay Lounge having our breakfast – overflowing congee, sandwiches, fruits, siomai, siopao and coffee.

Here’s me and Sophia while waiting for Jon.

The two of us again at the Mabuhay Lounge.

We were in HK excatly after 1 hour and forty minutes. Flight was on time and we were always given priority in the long lines at the immigration and boarding as I was pregnant and was with a baby pa. :D

We hopped on to our bus for our city hotel – Park Lane Hotel in Causeway Bay as soon as we got to HK airport.

Here’s the dad and Sophia while inside the bus.

We had lunch at the hotel and slept after. We woke up at 5pm and strolled around Causeway Bay. Our first stop was Toys R Us in Windsor House just infront of out hotel. Symepre pa, toys galore for the little girl. They didn’t have a Leapster though. Next was Sogo and then around the the streets of Causeway Bay lang. We had roasted duck for dinner after and overflowing salmon sashimi with soya milk! SARAP!!!!

Reporting from Starbucks.

I am here blogging at Starbucks right now while waiting for Salon de Manila here in Alabang to open at 10am.  I’ve made an appointment with my hairstylist, finally, after almost two months after my last haircut.  Geez, I badly need a haircut. My hair is everywhere. LOL.

Here’s what I am having while blogging my heart away by the way … :D

Belgian Waffle (strawberry) and  mango juice.

Antonio’s and Tagaytay Highlands Part 1

We had a sumptuous lunch at Antonio’s in Tagaytay last Sunday.  We were once again yayaless as Sophia’s yaya was on a day-off so it was just the three of us – Jon, Sophia and I which made our lunch date extra sweet.

The little girl was very relaxed so we were not in a hurry to eat at all as she was having fun looking at the coy pond.  We sat right beside the pond thats why. :)

Here are some photos.

For dessert, here’s what we had.

Food was yummy but a bit expensive. We are coming back though to try their other specialty – lechon de leche which needs to be called in first a day before.

Next, our Tagaytay Highlands Kwento.

Home Sweet Home.

I am back home.

(This post is a little bit of everything.)

Thank you to everyone who sent me their greetings for my birthday. I am feeling better now. In fact, was able to go to the grocery yesterday after almost two weeks of just staying at home. Slowly, I am finally getting my energy back. I hope this continues for the rest of my pregnancy.

~~~
Right now, surprisingly, with my one week of being sick, my tummy is bigger and is becoming more obvious. My pregnancy is really showing now no doubt about that. I wish to get back my lost appetite since I got sick though. Yesterday at the grocery, I bought each and every fruit available. I plan to gulp and gobble up everything to make up for the lost low appetite I have had for almost two weeks. I also plan to get every bit of rest I could. Sleep, eat and sleep to gain back every energy I lost.
~~~

While I was in my mom’s place, I tell you, I was pampered like a princess. I never lifted a finger hahaha. Moms are always like they aren’t they? They make sure their kids are treated the best. My stay there could almost pass up to be one of the available luxury vacations at Sherman’s Travel sans the outstanding sceneries and views of course. Unless you can count in the vast rice field at the back of my mom’s house as a great view.

~~~
This afternoon, Jon and I are attending the Parent’s Orientation at Rosemont. Next week, the little girl will start her days as a Nursery student. I can’t wait. As early as now, I already planning her “baon” schedule. It’s so exciting! You’ll surely get more updates on this matter in this blog so stay tuned.
