This afternoon

Sophia’s off to her pedia dentist appointment in a while and then I promised to take her to Time Zone after. We’ll do a bit of grocery shopping too and go around ATC to look for this recommended product for hair loss for women my friend told me all about. See, after having Mateo, I’ve been having a really bad case of hair loss.  I hope this “magic” product works for me as well as it worked for my friend.  Craving for Bizu macaroons so might get some before heading home.  The little girl won’t be allowed to eat nor drink for two hours after her fluoride application so no “snack date” for us.

Hoping it won’t be too hot outside, please?

Random

My high school friends were suppose to visit me today so we could hang out but sudden change of plans on their part. Its a good thing though as I have a a bad case of chin acne and I wouldn’t want them to see me with these red spots. There’s always next time.

Mateo did well at The Little Gym today. Simple things like this make me happy. Really.

The husband and I are doing this movie date thing every weekly now. Its something we both look forward to every weekend. :)

Sophia lost her first tooth and gets acquainted with the tooth fairy. This deserves a separate post.

I’m itching to get a new tote! Period.

Fun Day at the Farm

One sunny day, we trooped to hubby’s farm for a visit. The little girl was so excited of course to see her tree house again. The weather was fine so the kids were able to spend a good time outdoors and got to stay in the tree house longer. Thanks to Globe Tattoo I was able to work while they were playing. Managed to look at a scanning software too as per husband’s request. Day was definitely fun for the kids and productive for me.

Here are the kids with heir Auntie Nancy.

Spring Cleaning

I got rid of Sophia’s old clothes – all of them. Not one single small shirt or pants left. I gave everything away to the people in the farm, some relatives and cousins. Old shoes also had to go and so did some toys. I still need to unload some more toys though because honestly, the little girl has too much and she doesn’t even get to play with them.

The feeling is so liberating – giving away old stuff that you’ve been keeping for too long.  Now, our storage room is empty and it feels and looks so good!  By the time we move, which is a good one year ahead, I plan on not bringing any single clutter which is why I am starting spring cleaning this early.

Mateo’s old stuff out the door next. :)

Tagaytay on a Saturday.

In the ten days my sister in law was here, we managed to take her to Jon’s and my favorite resto in Tagaytay – Antonio’s. You see, we had so much plans for her vacation including a Bora or HK trip but tight schedue didn’t permit us to go. Well, add the fact that my SIL’s passport was at the US Embassy the whole time for her working visa processing so even if she wanted to go to HK, we just couldn’t. We had to do with whats nearby instead. The most important thing anyway was for her to spend time with her niece and nephew.

So one Saturday, we all trooped to Tagaytay. We had lunch at Antonio’s first -

Ivy (cousin), Nancy (sister in law), Daddy Ramon, Mommy Naomi, Jon, I and Sophia

Then to Highlands we went -

Now, look at me in this pic. Deceiving, huh? Is just me or did I really lose a little weight? If I did, then the apidexin scam isn’t really true. Instead, the diet pills aren’t really going to give you results instantly but they will eventually. That’s good enough for me.

For Today …

We’re heading to Ortigas for Sophia’s Trumpets’ dress rehearsal. The play/show will be tomorrow already and we’re all excited. Parents won’t be allowed to watch the rehearsal today though so I’m thinking of just meeting a friend for coffee while the little girl’s rehearsing. Or, I can go shopping instead. :)

Today, I am also expecting the really nice invitations I’ve ordered online for a friend’s baby shower. I just hope they are as cute IRL like they are featured on the site.

My sister in law and parents in law also left this morning for the US. Yes, my SIL’s very short vacation is over and our plans of going to HK and/or Bora never came to happen because of her tight schedule with fixing papers at the US embassy for her working visa. Oh well, next time.
