Sophia’s 5th Birthday Party

We skipped the big party for this year. Instead, our little girl celebrated her 5th birthday in school with her classmates and it was as much fun sans the big budget. :D

The Princess and the Frog is her thing now so no contest, it was her party theme. Here’s her mini Princess and the Frog cake.

And the cupcakes.

As to what to give her classmates for a token, I was thinking of having storage boxes made but due to time restraints, I opted to get these frog coin banks instead. I just filled them with assorted chocolates, lollies and candies.

Here are pictures during the very short school party. I wish I had more photos to share but my laptop is acting up. Will try to upload later at my Acer Aspire and share some more photos at flickr. Anyway, even if the party was short, it was more than enough. The little girl had her two minute of glory and she was more than happy. :)

Our little boy made a special appearance at his achi’s party by the way. It was a special request by non other than the birthday celebrant. So Mat-Mat was there, look!

Its Friday

… and my mom’s visiting, tee hee! I’ll have loads and loads of her homemade food once again – sisig, tokwa’t baby, crispy pata, nataniel’s buko pandan and leche flan, sylvannas … Oh, all yummy for the tummy! This makes me all the more excited with her every visit. Of course, I am also looking forward to our chika session more than anything else. I,m sure though, on her part, seeing her “apos” is the best part. :)

And since it was Sophia’s yesterday, the lola promised to take the little girl shopping. So we’ll be meeting at ATC for lunch first before the lola and apo head on to Rustans and Toy Kingdom for toys while I look for reliable POS systems. I wonder now where I would treat the “lola” for lunch. Cyma, maybe?
