Our Week

Mateo’s yaya left last Sunday for a two week vacation so as of today, I am on day 4 of being yayaless. So far, the little boy has been very cooperative and very easy to take care of. I’m surprised, really. He’s with me everywhere I go, 24/7. Such a behaved little boy! I hope we finish the week as is. Here’s how we spent and will be spending our week b the way.

Monday – did some grocery shopping with the kids. It was Mateo’s first, can you believe?

Tuesday – went to pedia for check up and then gave “ama” a visit after her hospital stint. Was able to drop b S&R too for some Ben & Jerry ice cream.

Wednesday – rest at home and blog about the amazingly low auto insurance quote I got from an online company.

Thursday – meet up with out Architect somewhere in High Street. I hope some restos are open!

Friday – no plans yet.

Saturday – drive to my parents’ house in Pampanga and then head to Fontana to meet some cousins who are checked in there. Kids can go swimming at Fontana Water Park.

Sunday – drive home.

My frustration …

is how to get a decent photo of them together.

My attempts.

it was so hard to get a decent photo of the two

Last Night.

Last night, I was in a hurry to finish reading articles at http://www.weightlosssupplement.org (yes, I am that desperate to lose weight!) because we were running late for dinner with my in laws. I managed to read a few articles though which I think are more than enough for me to decide on my game plan to tackle this weight lose problem of mine. More on that next time. Anyway, on to dinner. The kids were with us so we just decided to eat at Tony Roma’s so they are nearby playing at Dave’s Playhouse while we enjoy dinner.  You see, my eldest would prefer KFC anytime so we had her eat chicken and gravy first while the little guy eats his food too which we prepared at home. And when they were done, off to the playhouse and boy were they glad. It was my little boy’s first time and he had a blast! I have pictures on my cam but I’m too lazy to upload.  Will post pics on my next post instead :D

Meanwhile, over dinner, seems that we won’t do Bora anymore for summer. Haha. Told you we weren’t beach people. Instead we might go to HK again or Singapore maybe? If you ask me though, I’d probably stick with HK because plane ride is just an hour and a half. No definite plans yet though. Lets just wait and see. Still weighing my options now although the hubby is letting me decide.

Today.

Started my day early today. After reading the phentermine reviews at http://www.phenterminereviews.net, I immediately took a bath and headed out with the little girl. We first went grocery shopping at Shopwise and then went to Toddlers Unlimited to pay Mateo’s reservation fee for the bunnies class this summer. We then went to ATC to pay for Sophia’s Childrens Theater class by Trumpets which will already start next week right after holy week. Sophia by the way will also attend Galileo still and ballet class.  So okay, two kids will be busy bees this summer and I like that.

A Taste of Fun Ranch

… for the little guy. It was his first time and he was very cautious at first. Didn’t want to walk around and touch anything but he eventually settled in and in no time was all over the place like his achie. They spent a good one hour in the playhouse while I was busy searching the net for an online shop where I can buy differin for my recent acne breakout. This is the very reason why I hate summer. I start having bad breakouts because of the heat. :( Ugly ugly sight!

Anyway, here are some photos I manage to take. They aren’t a lot and of good quality too, sorry. It was very hard to make the two look at the camera at the same time. It was frustrating!

Meet my Kids.

Photo taken the exact day my eldest turned 5. This was before we leave the house for Fun Ranch. :)

Lets talk about Sophia first -

She has matured tremendously. She can read a book by herself and even write short stories too in her diary. Lately, she has grown tired of Cinderella and Hannah Montana while her obsession for Tiana of The Princess and The Frog grows deeper and deeper by the day. Simply looking at her, you’d think she’s 7yo or even an 8yo as she’s very tall and has lost the baby fats already. In no time I’m sure she’d be all grown up and would even be needing the best acne treatment there is when she starts to have breakouts. We all went through that stage, right? Or did you not? I did.

For summer, I’m thinking of enrolling her to Trumpets Playshop Children’s Theater and some art classes too as per her request. Ballet is on our list also. Called Casa Musica also for possible violin lessons but I was told to wait another year. So you see, her summer will be full of activities that she won’t have time to get bored, I hope.

On to Mateo -

At one year and almost four months, he has mastered the art of walking and running. And was I worried before of him not walking? Duh. Although I still have to understand what he’s saying aside from mama, daddy and achie, I am not worried – yet. :D He’s still a thumb sucker and so far, he’s been a very happy baby still. He eats about almost anything we give him and oh are we pleased. Hopefully he won’t grow up to be a picky eater like his achie. We rarely take him out but since he’s already past 1yo, I vow to let him go out with us more often now.

He’s starting playschool this summer at Toddlers Unlimited. Same school we sent his achie to before. I am excited of course. I can’t wait to see how he learns to socialize and be with other kids his age.

So there. My kids. My pride and joy.
