Happy Baby!

Pia’s Safe.

Our insurance agent sent me a clipping of Pia Magalona’s SunLife Story – an interview on one of the local broadsheets wherein she shared how her late husband, Francis Magalona’s insurance made sure that their family will go on living the life they deserve even when he’s gone. Reading her story gave me a sigh of relief. When Francis M. died, everybody including myself kept thinking how a mother of eight who has no permanent day job can carry on and be the sole bread winner of the family. More so, to keep up with the lifestyle the family has been accustomed to. I wouldn’t know what to do if it was me. Its good to know that Pia wouldn’t have to worry financially. Since she still has kids who go to school and all… such big burden is lifted from her shoulders because of the hefty insurance money she received. Stories like this warms my heart and puts a smile on my face. With the abounding negative feed backs on insurance companies now because of the bad economy, I guess Life Insurance do have its benefits and is not just a waste of money. I am no insurance guru, far from it actually that I don’t even know what annuity is but all I know is that its probably a wise move (really) to have one if you can afford it especially if you have a family you are leaving behind if the inevitable happens.

Just a thought.
