The Ate …

loves playing pretend.  She really loves being the big sister to little Mateo too.  If this photo below is a sign of things to come, I’m sure the two will get along very well.  I bet I’ll be so happy seeing them play together.

Photo was taken a couple of nights ago before putting the kids to sleep and I was busy looking for tv stands online. It was such a treat seeing them.  Definitely a mommy moment for me. I can’t wait until Mateo is big enough to respond to her “ate’s” antics.

Two month old!

Time flies! Our little boy already turned two months old yesterday. Here he is on our way to Tayma’s house for Chinese New Year.

Now, is he really a boy version of me? Parang hindi eh …

Father’s Day.

Last Sunday was Rosemont’s celebration of Father’s Day and here are some photos during the event.

This year’s theme was Dad’s Camp and the kids were divided into three teams. Jon and Sophia were part of the Red Team.

There were daddy and kid games.

And here, look at our family photo – my recent photo which just proves that I’ve had too much of Royce Chocolates! I badly need new diet pills that work don’t you think?

Reunited…

with my laptop! Yahoo!!!

My laptop arrived today and I’m giddy happy! Thanks to Yvette’s husband – Bishop. He’s a genius! LOL.

I never thought I’d be attached to my laptop so much but apparently I am. While it was away for reprogramming, I had to content myself with the desktop computer and I must say, it isn’t the same. I guess when you’re used to using a laptop and browsing the net anywhere in the house, you kinda get bored and find it hard to use the desktop again. Anyway, since my beloved laptop is now back in my arms, you can now expect updates on all my blogs. I plan to be back to blogging big time. Watch out. :D

It’s 10pm now though and its way past my bedtime so I have to make this comeback post short. I will be back tomorrow with more posts though so do check back. In the meantime, let me leave you with these latest photos of the kids. :)

Our little girl …

Ain’t they the cutest? :D

Okay, signing off for now but before I do, need to check out for a digital signage first for the husband.  By tomorrow, more photos and posts so stay tuned!

Alive…

It has been ages since I posted! I’m still here, still alive, peeps! I’m just not in the mood to blog using my desktop computer as my laptop is still under a friend’s care but will be all new by Thursday so expect me to have a blogging marathon by then. :D

I have got so much to blog! I hope I can still find time to remember. Highlight though was Father’s Day at Sophia’s school last Sunday. It was fun! It was a great bonding for daddy and the little girl. They played games together and performed together for one whole day. And nothing beats the little girl telling me and her dad before she sleeps that she enjoyed and had so much fun at Father’s Day. :) Well, Jon and I did too – enjoyed the event. Looking forward to next year’s. :)

Now, I have got to go – as usual. I promise to be back with a vengeance by Thursday. And first thing on my list by then is to look for nice vacation rentals. Until then!

Little Updates…

are all I can afford for now as I still can’t browse the net using my laptop. Hence, I can’t blog that much too and so as much as I want to reply to all your comments, I can’t. I’m using my desktop now and I am pressed for time. I just need to check mails from time to time and I’m always in hurry. Hay naku.

Anyway, got loads of update. Finalized na the theme for the party. We are giving in. After all, its our daughter’s party and I can’t take that away from her – choosing the theme that is. You see, when we were at my party organizer’s office, she changed her mind about the ballerina party and wanted Nemo again. So I said, be it. She’ll be happy the most with a Nemo theme party I bet and as a parent, that’s what I want so I am giving it to her. :)

I’m getting pretty excited with the party. Can’t wait! I hope my new found party organizer will deliver. Based from the lay-out they gave me for the decor, its going to be really nice. *crossfingers*

My little boy is starting to sleep through the night, yahoo!!!! At six weeks, he sleeps at 9:30pm and wakes up to feed at around 2am. Wakes up at 6am then to feed again. Oh, I didn’t expect it to be this easy if you know what I mean. He has grown terribly big too by the way. Will post a pic of him soon. He’s such a cutie (this is my blog so I can say what I want) and so puti!

~~~
I am addicted to online shopping and Royce Chocolates lately and I need to stop – pronto! Last Tuesday, went to Powerplant Mall with Sophia (we were on a date, just the two of us) to look for some discount furniture I can score but instead I got 6 boxes of Nama chocolates before leaving. Race kami ni Jon sa pagkain when I got home, bwahaha. I swear, I’m so fat now. Need to lose weight in time for the party!
~~~

That’s it for now. Need to give the little boy a bath. He just woke up!

A Ballerina Party?

Two months before Sophia’s 4th Birthday and Mateo’s Baptism Party, we haven’t finalized the theme yet. I know I said we’re having a Nemo Party as per the little girl’s request but you see, the dad including all the party organizers I talked to doesn’t really love the idea. They find the theme a bit odd for a 4 year old and a little girl at that. Hmm, now I’m also having second thoughts about it.

So as a result, for days now we have been trying to talk to the little girl about having a different party theme instead. I have tried bribing her too but to no avail. The dad had a brilliant idea however. He suggested that we just give the little girl a small Nemo Party in school while she gets to have a different party theme on her real party at C3 Events Place. Now I think this is going to work. (I hope!) Why didn’t I think of that? Maybe because I thought that the dad won’t agree to another party as we are already having one that requires quite a big budget but apparently he is up for it. Wow! I wonder what he ate, LOL!

So now I am searching the net high and low for a nice theme for Sophia’s 4th Birthday Party. I want something really girly. No High School Musical and Hannah Montana though as Sophia barely knows them. You may find that odd and I swear I do too but what can a mother do? She really isn’t inclined to singing and dancing. She loves ballet though lately as she has ballet books such as Angelina Ballerina and I’m thinking maybe she can have a Ballerina Party? The dad thinks its a nice idea but I don’t know yet. I wonder if I can pull that off so I’m still looking for other theme alternatives. The thought of Sophia in a Ballerina Princess costume though is such a delight and I’m sure she’ll love it and will look good in it too as she wears her leotards and tutu almost everyday at home. Getting her a Ballerina Princess costume won’t be a problem too I think because I’ll just check my favorite online store that sells different costumes either for Halloween and Kiddie Parties. They happen to have the nicest bunny costumes I’ve ever seen too. Not that I need one now but if ever I will need one in the future I know where to get such already. You should try them too for your costume needs.

Anyway, back to the party, any suggestions of better party themes? Let me know and I’ll be so happy and grateful of course. I can’t seem to think of any right now as my mind is so blank for some reasons. Hay, the clock is ticking. I need to finalize things now as I’ll be meeting with the invites supplier in a week or so.

Here’s Sophia pretending to be a ballerina by the way. You think a ballerina party suits her?
