We visited a friend’s newly constructed condo in Mandaluyong last week and what can I say? I was in awe because the couple went all out designing their two room condo. Aside from the four LCD TVs they have, its the Window Coverings I really loved. They invested on Hunter Douglas, darling! They only had five windows you see but they spent over a hundred thousand for the shades. Well, I could say pretty expensive really but worth it as cleaning is a breeze. And the fact that the rooms really looked so classy, that is more than enough reason, don’t you think? The husband thinks otherwise though. He said, he’ll gladly settle with Blinds as he won’t spend that much for window shades even if they were like the Bali Shades he saw in a hotel room while vacationing abroad which he really liked.
Anyway, I got so curious and searched for Hunter Douglas online which led me to BlindSaver.com, a the leading internet window covering dealers that sells the top brands of blinds and shades. Oh, I must say, I shouldn’t have had checked the site as I saw how even more beautiful and how I got so many color choices and fabric choices when it comes to window coverings! Now, I am so tempted to change our roman shades. Darn, if only I have the budget for it. Unfortunately, I don’t so I have to content myself with what we have. I hope my fascination with these new window coverings fade soon or I’ll go crazy.
Thanks to Jacqui for organizing the meet up. I had fun and I went home so full! It was nice to see the MBAPs again and I am looking forward to our next meet up.

I am addicted to traveling. If only budget will permit, I would love to travel all the time! I love seeing new places and I love how I get to discover new things with my husband and daughter. Realistically though, since money is an issue, we cannot afford to travel all the time even if we want to. And since I am due to give birth any time soon, I am taking a long hiatus from traveling starting now. I wish to come back with a vengeance though when my second baby is a bit bigger and can travel with us already. I will surely ask the husband to take us somewhere special. If budget permits, I hope he’ll agree to take us to London! Yeah right! But who knows, he just might say yes. You see, I am a very persistent wife and I usually get what I want. I’ll tell him that he need not worry because I will look for cheap hotels we can stay at while there and with the number of London Hotels, I am sure we’ll get one that will best fit out budget. Destinia, a Spanish online travel agency that now, is penetrating the english language market will surely make it easy for me. I can search for hotels in this site without a fuss. I really hope I can make the husband agree.

I was in Sophia’s school for their “Linggo ng Wika” program this morning where students paraded with their Filipiniana costume when I got a call from Jon’s travel agent telling me of some minor changes on Jon’s booking for his Macau trip next month. She also asked if I was interested as she has great travel deals that she wanted to offer us. No thanks please. I’m VERY pregnant now you know. Tummy is getting bigger and heavier by the day. 
Anyway, back to Sophia’s school program, as I was saying, they were asked to come in costume today. And here is my little girl in her Filipiniana dress with matching “bakya” in what color but PINK of course as she so specified.

Yayas were not allowed inside the school premises so you could just imagine, I was taking all these photos while recording the goings-on on the video camera too. Harassed mommy! Yeah, the husband wasn’t with us.

Well, she performed all on her own and I am one proud mommy. She sang “So Much More Than A Dream” infront of her classmates, teachers and a few parents wearing her all time favorite Cinderella costume. She did not show any trace of shyness or stage fright you know and it seems that it was me who was so worried all along. Why? When I was about to take a photo of her singing on stage, wala pala ang memory card na cam ko!!! Serious!
Goodness, I left it on my laptop memory slot! Kainis!
I do have a video of her singing but how can I not check the memory card of my digital camera?!?!?!?! Why oh why!!!!!!!!!
