Outdoor Furniture.

If you have been following my and my friends’ blogs, you all know by now that there are plans of having our Christmas Party celebration this coming October at my place. I welcome such with open arms as I am sure it’ll be a blast as we have very good organizers – Jacqui and Jody. I am kinda worried though how my house can accommodate so many people. Well, we do have a big garden area so I think I might as well take advantage of it. What do you think? The husband suggested to get Outdoor Furniture as the solution.

Now, I am thinking of getting Outdoor Furniture to fill up our garden so we can all lounge around the area while the kids have fun in their inflated swimming pool or playing in Sophia’s play house. Maybe I should get those Outdoor Benches I saw at Spacify, a modern contemporary furniture supplier online. I’m sure all the mommies would want to stay out to watch the kids and chat the day through so having benches in the garden is a good idea. I am not really a fan of Outdoor Wood Furniture but after seeing the ones at Spacify, I changed my mind. I think they will blend well and would definitely make my garden look appealing just in time for the October meet up.

Transformation.

I was in Las Paellas this morning, my usual hang-out, planning on blogging the whole morning while waiting for the mall to open when suddenly, as I tried to open a page, no connection was available. Apparently, down ang GlobeWiz. Darn. I have so many things to do!

Anyway, to kill time, I decided to organize my files and pictures when I saw these photos which I did probably because of boredom haha.

Look at the transformation my dears – hubby’s and Sophia’s. Ako same pa din except for the hair noh? :D Agree?

Amsterdam.

My mom’s sister is leaving for Netherlands, specifically in its largest city, Amsterdam – for good. She was able to marry a very polite Dutch whom she met while she was working in a luxury ship some years ago. My mom and the rest of my uncles and aunties will surely miss her. Last week, during her “despedida party”, we all sent our warm regards and gave her our hugs and kisses. Although excited, she was very sad to leave her family behind. My mom assured her though that she will come to visit her soon. I have read so many good things about Amsterdam so I am sure my mom and her sisters who will come to visit will have a grand time in this city that has a rich architectural history. I was even surprised to find out that Amsterdam is the 5th busiest tourist destination in Europe with more than 4.2 million international visitors. The number of visitors has been growing rapidly and steadily over the past decade maybe because of the great beauty the city has to offer. There are said to be a lot great hotels too that are located in the city’s center. Some Amsterdam Hotels are even said to offer special arrangements or activities due to the theme Amsterdam has every year for its tourists. This is to bring in as much tourists as they can according to Wikipedia. Now, knowing all these makes me want to visit this city too. I hope in the near future I can.

The Big C.

My grandmother died because of the Big C. Everyone in the family was devastated when we found out she had cancer. I guess no one expected it as it is the first in the family so we were all shocked and were caught off guard. Right after we found out, time has never been more precious.

My grandmother instantly complied with her chemotherapy sessions even if she was against it already and kept saying that she’s too old for such treatment and that she’s afraid of the side effects. Because of the family’s persistence though, she gladly obliged. I wonder if it was the right thing to do but since we all wanted her to get well, and going through chemotherapy sessions is the only way we know how, we insisted she goes through the process. No matter how painful, she went through it. We all wished we knew of MaddoxOncology.com then so we could have at least got her cancer products like anti nausea bracelets to lessen her burden. It would have surely helped her a lot. MaddoxOncology.com is a family owned business that provides cancer products selected by survivors themselves to make treatment more tolerable and help patients stick to their treatment regimen. They have different nausea products that can help relieve nausea and uneasy stomach associated with motion sickness and chemotherapy. I remember so clearly how my grandmother complained of nausea back then and would always ask for anti nausea medicines but we couldn’t give her any. It was really depressing and painful. Now, if anyone you know is going through the same stage, there is something you can do to lessen the burden proven by a family who has personally gone through cancer and survived it.  Visit MaddoxOncology.com.
