Weekend Recap.

Friday

Sophia’s Talent Show in school was postponed. They watched a group of Bayanihan Dancers instead in preparation for their Linggo ng Wika which started yesterday.

Saturday

Yaya went on a sudden day off as her mom who takes care of her baby is sick. So Jon didn’t go to the farm and took care of the little girl which is his usual duty when the yaya is off. Oh, I just love being pregnant LOL! We decided to let Sophia get a haircut so we went to ATC before lunch time. Sophia now sports a shorter hair which I think suits her. :) I don’t have pics to show though as I left my camera at home. We then went to Bio Research in Paranaque to buy salt water for Sophia’s aquarium after eating lunch at Gloria Maris. Sophia was ecstatic to see so many aquariums and fishes. Boy oh boy, this was a filed trip destination pala as we were with some kids from Don Bosco touring the premises. This is where Jon bought Nemo (clownfish) by the way.

Sunday

My family from Pampanga came to visit and we trooped to Tagaytay Highlands. Good thing the weather cooperated so everybody had fun. Sophia and my brothers went fishing, horseback riding and bowling. My brothers also rode the go karts while me, my mom and my sister spent the day eating and talking about their upcoming Las Vegas travel next month. When the kids were done, Sophia insisted on riding the funicular so we obliged. We were able to catch the last funicular trip at 6:00pm. Then, we were off - home. We had dinner at Paseo de Sta. Rosa by the way which has got so many new restos right now. There’s Kanin Club, Poquito Mas, Razon’s, Cabalen to name a few I have noticed but they have got many many more I swear. Again, I have no pics to show as my camera had no battery. Bummer! My sister took pics though so I’ll ask her to email some to me.

Monday

Rest Day, which we (more of I) badly need.

****my internet connection sucks so bad lately. there are a couple of sites i can’t access too like other MBAPs’ blogs and even some of my own… i wonder why.****

Why do we need friends.

Thanks Carol for this sweet friendship tag.

We need friends for many reasons,
all throughout the season.
We need friends to comfort us
when we are sad,
and to have fun with us when we are glad.

We need friends to give us good advice,
We need someone we can count on,
and treat us nice.

We need friends to remember us
one we have passed
sharing memories that will always last.

Spread the poem of friendship.

Our ultimate travel destination

…is none other than Paris - being one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, with over 30 million foreign visitors per year. There are numerous iconic landmarks among its many attractions, along with world-famous institutions and popular parks. Both Jon and I have never been to this romantic city so we vow to visit it soon. How soon? I actually don’t know too. Realistically speaking, since I’m pregnant right now it, it couldn’t really be any sooner. Three more years maybe or five the most, right in time for our 10th wedding anniversary. I hope so. I have heard so many good stories about Paris and I just wish that I could be the one talking about this wonderful city to friends soon. I was told too that Paris Hotels are one of a kind and truly are worth every centavo spent. Well then, I’m sure I’d be delighted to spend my nights in them with my husband while we’re vacationing in one of the world’s leading business and cultural centres they fondly call “The City of Light”.

If ever we do decide to finally visit Paris, I’d be ecstatic and I’ll make sure to come prepared and get us the best hotel that can let us better experience what Paris has to offer. This would be easy as I just need to read up on Paris Hotels guide and I’m all set. Oh, how I wish we could go there soon! Let’s wait and see.
