Pressure never ends.

Sophia’s long paper game aka exams are done, thank gawd! After two afternoons of cramming (reviewing), finally I can relax now.

Or so I thought.

Tomorrow, Nursery students in Sophia’s school are having a talent show. Each student is asked to perform anything, be it a dance or song number, poem recital, painting etc. They are encouraged to wear costumes too. Ayan, panibagong pressure.

Figuring out what my little girl will do is a no-brainer. You see, she can’t dance, at all. I’m not exaggerating but she really can’t dance. :D So you guessed it right, Sophia will render a song. What song you may ask? Her all time favorite - So much More Than A Dream from the Cinderella 3 movie. She loves this song to bits and she knows it by heart. I’ll make her wear the Cinderella gown she wore during my cousin’s birthday and I guess we’re all set.

Yesterday though, I was desperate and buzzed people over at YM for help on looking for a So Much More Than A Dream Audio over the net available for downloading as I don’t know how to use limewire and even if I did, according to Abie, the song wasn’t available there. I have long been wanting to buy the Cinderella 3 soundtrack but after going to every music store, I was told that it was pulled out from the market as there was a change in the producing company or something like that. So you see, we never had a cd of this song. Sophia would only hear it while watching her Cinderella 3 DVD. So how can she sing it if we didn’t have a cd right? Thank you so much to the people who tried to help me and sorry also for bothering all of you. You know who you are. :)

At the end, thanks to my good friend’s husband, Bishop for making it possible. Heaven sent! He was able to download a video from YouTube and converted it to an MP3 and sent the file to me over at YM without a fuss. Ang galing! Thank you thank you.

Now all we need to do is practice. Naku, wish us luck!

New York New York.

My brothers who are part of the basketball team who are competing in Las Vegas next month are ecstatic that they are finally going to see and step foot to the land with greener pastures as others call it - America. It’s both their first time and they clearly can’t wait. My mom and dad will be joining them for the two week game tour. They are all excited of course.

They plan to meet some of our relatives after the games. Well, I guess they really should and to even maximize the expensive fare, they should visit as many cities they could. To begin with, my cousin who is based California promised to take the whole gang to New York after as he believes this city is a must see for first timers like them. To maximize their visit in this marvelous city, I told them they should take a look at what NYC Tours has to offer. It just might be the smartest thing to do to be able to go around the city and see all the major attractions and activities during their short stay. this hop-on, hop-off bus tours are operated on a fleet of new double-decker buses designed with top-deck-only seating to provide tourists with the best possible views of New York City’s attractions, neighborhoods and places of interest. I guess hopping on one is really worthit. I would definitely try them when I do visit the city which is hopefully soon.
