Our afternoons…

are spent in the garden goofing around, playing, eating and what-have-you’s. Opps, and walking the dogs too! Sophia owns a chihuahua that she loves to bits while the husband now owns a Mini Bull Terrier. This dog looks like a pig I’m telling you which is why we named him Porky, LOL! I will post a photo of him soon.

**The husband’s fascination over his show quality Labrador faded early and decided to send the dog to his mom’s place. The dog was big kasi.

Anyway, here’s the little girl with her dad one lazy afternoon.

Here’s the two month old pregnant me last April with my three year old daughter Sophia at Sofitel pool area. We attended Tayma’s (Jon’s lola) birthday dinner that night at Spirals, said to have the longest buffet? I love this photo as we look so relaxed, don’t you think? Or feeling ko lang? HAHA

Now, play along Joy, Kelly, Yvette, Chat and Dez.

For today.

I am hitting the mall today to get some grocery supplies while the little girl is in school. She is requesting for macaroni salad so I need to get ingredients for that. The yaya also told me to get shoe shiner as Sophia’s newly bought Stride Rite shoes badly needs shining. Yeah, after just two weeks! As I checked, they indeed look like they needed replacing LOL! They had scratches everywhere! This just shows how rough my daughter plays, eh? While at the mall, I will also drop by the bookstore to get the little girl another book of course to add to her collection and at the same time get A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose, a book from Oprah’s Book Club to give as gift to my Auntie who is celebrating her 50th birthday next week.  I couldn’t think of anything else to give her so might as well give her a highly recommended book.  Lastly, I am hoping to get some maternity clothes while at the mall too as I am getting bigger each day, I swear.

Books and more books.

I could not tell you how young my daughter started her love affair with books. To date, at age 3, she has her own collection already and each week, her collection is growing as every trip to the mall we make, we have got to pass by a bookstore to get a new book. Such has become a weekly habit. Jon and I don’t mind at all. In fact, we really are grateful that she loves books and adores being read a story. She also can’t wait to learn how to read on her own which she says over and over again. We hope that her fascination for reading won’t wither, thus will grow more in the years to come.
