Car Seat Shopping.
Sophia was never accustomed to seating in a car seat while inside the car. (From where I am from, there is really no strict car seat law thats why.) This is one thing I fully regret right now and vowed to change by hook or by crook on my next baby. I have met parents who practiced the habit of making their kids sit on car seats and boy, was traveling so much easier for them. They can just even drive all on their own and not have a yaya the whole time with them as the kid just sits the whole time the car is moving. Bliss.
I wonder now though if its too late to train my daughter. The husband thinks maybe we still can so to begin with, I am now looking for a car seat for toddler. What Sophia has is the rear-facing cars seat for newborns which she rarely used. At this stage, as I researched, she already needs a booster seat or a front-facing car seat for toddler. I looked around the net and I was surprised to find the vast choices of car seat for toddler available. There are many different styles of car seats to choose from with different price tags too promising the utmost safety of our child which is the most important feature to look for rather than the cool features such as padded head rests, reclining angles for maximum comfort, pivoting arm rests, cup holders and storage spaces for small toys or road snacks. But having these added features won’t hurt too of course but safety like the five point harness system should be a parents’ top priority when choosing the best car seat for his or her child.
Right now, the search for the perfect car seat is on.
