Missed mails.

I was feeling quite good this morning despite being on my 8th week of pregnancy so I took the opportunity to get up and check my mails. I have almost a thousand mails on my inbox! As I was browsing, most came from shopping sites letting me know of whats new, promos and hot deals while some were forwarded messages from some friends. I also got a term life insurance quote among other stuff.

I used to not end my day without reading my mails but since I got pregnant everything has taken a back seat.  Sleeping now is my fave pastime of all time.

Happy Birthday, Ama!

Jon’s “ama” celebrated her 80th birthday last Friday at Spirals in Sofitel Hotel. We had a sumptuous buffet that for the first time in weeks, after getting pregnant, I ate a lot and was so full. We got there a bit early so while waiting for the birthday celebrant, we went out to check out the view at the pool area and to see the sunset.

Here’s a photo of me and the little girl.

We haven’t gotten “ama” a birthday gift yet as I don’t know what to get her. Jon’s suggesting a bath lift which I think is a nice idea. I just hope I get to see one in our local stores.

Swimming lessons.

Sophia together with her friends- Joaquin and Adi started their private swimming lessons last Thursday. No yaya or mommy is allowed in the pool which is a good thing for me. The class was super fun and the kids had fun. Here are some photos.

Snack time.

Class proper.

Sophia can’t wait for the next session which is on Tuesday. I can’t wait either. I’ll bring the video cam this time as the kids are so funny with their antics.  It’ll surely be fun to watch the video when the kids are older.

Hating the summer heat.

Is it just the pregnant me or what, it has been so HOT these past few days. I barely get out of the room and do something. Summer isn’t really my favorite season obviously unless I can afford to stay in luxury resorts all the time like at Branson resorts. Since I can’t, I could only wish for summer to be over. I’ve had enough. I’m sorry but I’m really am not fond of the heat. I feel like a pig sweating!

Let it rain!

Stroller talk.

While Jon was drooling at Hublot big bang watches over the net last night, I on the otherhand, was busy checking out the prams at Quinny.  Although I would love to get a Bugaboo for our upcoming baby, with the price tag of almost a thousand dollars for a stroller alone, I’ll pass. Instead, I’ll probably settle with this five hundred dollar Quinny Buzz which is still as good, I hope.

Shopping makes me so excited!

Myartistsplace

Do you ever dream of seeing your kids on TV? I do! Well then, there’s this production company that can help stage moms like us to get our kids on TV and more.

Myartistplace is a resource center for budding child actors, singers, dancers and comedians alike. By signing up, children and their parents get an opportunity to work with other professionals, to develop their contacts, and to audition for internal shows. Definitely a great way to build and practice skills while trying to penetrate the entertainment industry where knowing the right people and having the right connections would get you to the top as talent alone won’t do. That is one harsh reality. Myartistplace can be your child’s ticket to fame and success. Although the program is not for everybody, My Artist’s place can be a springboard onto the silver screen for the right individual. And who knows, that individual could be your precious one. So take the opportunity now so your dream of seeing your kids on screen can start to materialize. After all, there’s no harm in trying, right?

Wet suit.

I am looking for a full length wet suit for Sophia like the one in the photo below.  Have you seen one?  Please let me know where. Thanks!

Badly need one asap.
