So thin!
If you see me now, you’ll wonder if I’m taking diet pills such as Alli as I am so thin. Nobody would even believe that I’m almost 10 weeks pregnant, I’m telling you. You see, I have no appetite at all. I barely eat. And if I do, most of the time, I vomit it all out after. talk about the sacrifices of getting pregnant. I hope these will all pass soon, and I mean really soon.
Our busy weekend.
Our family has been all over the place these past three days. It has been a very tiring but fun weekend nonetheless.
Friday, we were off to Pampanga to attend the fist birthday party of my good friend’s daughter at Grand Palazzo. It was a super fun party. Too bad I don’t have photos as I was too lazy to take out the camera. Blame my pregnancy on that, haha. Party ended a bit late so we were able to go home to my mom’s house late too. Sophia was dead tired.
Saturday morning was spent at my mom’s house while the afternoon was spent at King’s Royal Villas for a get together with my relatives from my mother’s side. Food was overflowing and kids were all over the place. I wasn’t informed by my mom though that the kids will go swimming so the little girl wasn’t prepared but that didn’t hinder her from swimming. She borrowed a swimsuit from her cousin Phoebe and voila, she was enjoying the waves at the pool in no time. I think she is really addicted to swimming as her world seemed to crumble when it was time for her to get out of the water. I wonder if there’s such thing as swimming addiction treatment as my daughter badly needs it, LOL. We went home a bit late again so Sophia was (again) dead tired.
The next day, Sunday, were off to Manila to attend a 3rd birthday party at KFC in Mandaluyong. We made it in time for the lunch treat and Sophia ( as usual) had the time of her life again partying with her friends Summer, Sage, Migs and Marla. After the party, we left the kids at Jackie’s house while mommies and daddies went to St. Luke’s Hospital to visit a friend who just gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Stayed there for a while chitchatting to the new mom and her tale while she ended up getting a CS. We got back to Jackie’s house at 7pm and we left again for a birthday dinner treat at Good Earth in Metrowalk. The kids were still having fun anyway so we managed to leave them again for good three hours. Besides, Sophia didn’t want to go home. She was having so much fun playing. By 10 pm, finally, it was time to to call it a day. We were bale to reach home at 10:30pm. Sophia as you have guessed was so dead tired and was sleeping the whole ride home.
Busy weekend, right?
This broke my heart today.
From the day I found out I was pregnant, I stopped carrying my daughter Sophia who weighs a hefty 50lbs. I told her the reason why and she never complained until today.
This morning, in a very paawa voice, she said “Mommy, when you are not pregnant anymore, can you please carry me again? I miss you carrying me already…..”
What she said broke my heart. I wanted to cry. Is it just my hormones or what?
Dogs in the house.
Every afternoon, I now have this habit of sitting and relaxing over our newly purchased patio furniture while watching Sophia walk her dog – Krung Krung. Yes, she is still with us and is staying permanently. I know I have told you about my non-preference for dogs in the house but what can I do? The little girl is so fascinated this with this uber small cross breed of mini pin and chihuahua. The dad had joined the wagon too as he now owns a show quality black Labrador which he also walks every afternoon together with the little girl. It had become a bonding time for the daddy and the little girl and I am just so happy seeing them together sharing their fascination for both their dogs.
So I wasn’t really successful on keeping the house dog free huh?
Pass.
Got a very tempting promotional email today offering great discounts for an Outer Banks vacation suited for the whole family. As I read further, the deal is too good too to pass up. Too bad though as I am pregnant and is on my first trimester so I cannot have such trips yet. I hope they would still offer such great deal when I am safe to travel already as I am sure my little girl will enjoy such vacation.
Dora’s Pirate Adventure Show.
The Dora Show was good. Sophia had the best time watching Dora and her friends live at Aliw Theater last Sunday. Ticket prices were worthit. Just look at my little girl here.
Here are some photos of the show.
