Happy 3rd Birthday, Sophia!

birthday girl with her strawberry shortcake cake

My little girl celebrated her 3rd birthday yesterday together with her classmates at Toddlers Unlimited. I prepared a simple class party for her and I’m glad I did. As you all know, as I’ve written in my other blog, I had several party plans in mind but last minute decided on a class party. It was the best choice. Sophia was so happy to share her birthday celebration with her “friends” (what she calls her classmates).

my new home

Yey, you made it to my new home. :)

I’ve moved everything from my blogspot here so please update your links. I’ll be keeping this blog together with My Charmed Life from now on. My Joys has been my home for two years and as much as I don’t want to abandon it, I can’t help but move on. I am loving wordpress just so you know. ;)

As my title indicates, this blog will document my bouts with motherhood and everything else in between. My Charmed Life on the other hand will focus on my life sans mommyhood duties from now on. I need that break you know. ;) We all do, every once in a while as no matter how doting a mother I am and how selfless a wife I am, I still feel the need to just be me every chance I get.

So if you want to keep track of how I mother a 3yo little girl who happens to talk more than I do, this blog is the one you need to visit. If, on the other hand, you feel the need to not talk about anything motherly, point your browsers to my other blog.

See you around!

dog update

The husband came home without a Miniature Bull Terrier. Apparently, the one he saw wasn’t as nice. Good news? A big NO. He came home with four Mini Pinchers instead. The good thing is, the dogs are bound to stay in the farm, not here in our house. Oh yes, good news!

BUTAs soon as the little girl saw this uber tiny Mini Pincher, she wouldn’t let it go. As of today, the three are already in the farm and this dog whom Sophia calls KRUNG KRUNG is still here at home. Until when? I don’t know. Probably until the little girl loses interest. I hope SOON!

a dog?!?!?!

Gosh.

You all know I’m not fond of dogs, right? The husband is though. He is out right now meeting up a friend to get a Miniature Bull Terrier. Whatta?!?!?!?!?!

This is WAR.

If you’re wondering, here’s how the dog looks like. I actually just googled some pics.

unexpected visit

Last week, we had unexpected visitors. Jackie, Martin, Marla and their whole family stopped by our house from the Batangas trip. I wasn’t prepared so I just ordered 3 large pizzas from yellow Cab and 4 orders of Charlie Chan pasta. Solve na, LOL :D

Here are the kids sans Joaquin who was throwing a tantrum.
