Happy 3rd Birthday, Sophia!

My little girl celebrated her 3rd birthday yesterday together with her classmates at Toddlers Unlimited. I prepared a simple class party for her and I’m glad I did. As you all know, as I’ve written in my other blog, I had several party plans in mind but last minute decided on a class party. It was the best choice. Sophia was so happy to share her birthday celebration with her “friends” (what she calls her classmates).
The kids started the “class party” with cupcake decorating from Marta Matute. Thanks to Jhoanne for sourcing this out for me. The kids got tow cupcakes each with their own set of decorating materials such as colored icings, sprinkles, marsh mallows, candies etc.
Right after the cupcake decorating, the candle blowing followed. Sophia was so “kilig” with her cake. Who wouldn’t? It’s so nice! The teachers and other moms were all asking where I got it.
Eating came next. I ordered food from where else, Jollibee of course! Every kids’ favorite. They had spaghetti, chicken, fries and a drink. The yayas got burgers too.
Eating time was followed by romp time where Jollibee was actually waiting for the kids to give a dance number.
And then it was time for the improvised pabitin. Oh, this was fun! The kids were all of same height and same age syempre so they were all on their own.
Sophia gave out director’s chairs to everybody. The boys received Cars Themed one while the girls of course had Strawberry Shortcake chairs.

The party was very short but sweet. The kids really had fun. I’m glad I decided on a class party for the little girl this time.
I can’t believe it, sounds so cliche but time really flies so fast. I now have a 3yo little girl! She badly needs to be an ate soon, waaaah!
The little girl’s birthday is not yet until the 11th by the way. I just needed to have the party earlier as we are leaving for Guam tonight.

the personalized directors chairs i ordered from apple. pero i think meron na hindi personalized, plain green lang, sa mga hardware stores like true value of DIY or handyman. i saw dati eh.

hi kelly! no, marta did not make the cake hehe. i only got the deco cupcakes from her. the cake was from kitchen krafts would you believe? iba hitsura noh? its really nice. better pa than the one i asked them to copy
