skin issues
I’m taking Sophia to an Allergologist today. I’m hoping to see some light on why every little mosquito bite creates such a big reaction on her skin. The affected area will first swell, skin will eventually balloon with water inside and soon after it’ll pop and the skin will peel off. Ouch. I swear, its killing me. I’m so paranoid with mosquitos now and any other insect for that matter. I make Sophia wear pajamas all day and we endlessly apply herbal mosquito repellents on her too. We vacuum beds and sofas, spray baygon and lysol in every single part of the house EVERY SINGLE DAY. No kidding, we do! I’m telling you we’re neat freaks already but apparently some insects can still sneak in.
This is also the reason why you rarely see Sophia wearing dresses and shorts too. She’s in pants all the time. Hay, I’m desperate. We’ve used almost every cream too and nothing seemed to work. We’ve tried synalar 10, momate, betnovate, glomate?, fenistil, bactroban, good old vicks, and a few more I can’t remember now. Now I’m thinking maybe its with the food that she eats perhaps? I will find out hopefully soon. I’ll have her skin tested to be sure. Until then, she’ll be in pajamas and pants still. No more cutie skirts and dresses just yet.
