Since I was home the whole day today, I decided to try cooking Kare-Kare. My first ever attempt to cook the dish. Thanks to Juliana and Pinoycook for the recipe I used as guide.

Modesty aside, it was yummy! Even if it doesn’t look like it, it sure was. Promise. Jon said it was, really

Woohoo!

It’s just around 8:45pm and the little girl is in dreamland already. I think she’s slowly getting back to sleeping early. Oh how I wish she does. Not only is it healthier for her, it would also let me squeeze in a good thirty minutes of blogging time enough to post one opp or two before hitting the sack at 9:30pm.

Oh, this is blogging bliss.

Last night when Jon and I were pretending to be sleeping already beside the little girl, we suddenly heard her say “Goddag (Good-dahg) means hello in Danish” over and over. Funny! She clearly remembered the word from her Gymboree class that morning. Cool! Kids are really like sponge at this age. They absorb things well without us really noticing. This should make us extra careful on what we do or say in front of them, don’t you think? They understand really well more than we expect. Galing!

Just this morning, the little girl woke up and said “Goddag (complete with accent!), mommy!” O diba? Sosyal!

The husband is going home early today. It’s Saturday and he’s expecting heavy traffic that’s why. I can’t wait to watch Stairway to Heaven (rerun at QTV) with him later. It’s our fave Koreanovela of all time and it doesn’t fail to make us kilig everytime we watch it. Talk about being pathetic and mababaw! LOL. Well, we are! ;p

How are all of you today? I bet, some mommies are excited to see Barney =) We’re watching tomorrow so I won’t visit your blogs as I might get a glimpse of the show already, LOL. Ayoko, gusto ko surprise hahaha.

My Saturday will be spent at home, blogging - to death! I have TONS of assignments to finish so I badly need fillers. Send me some, please! Pardon this blog if it may be bombarded with stuff you might not be interested in a day or two ;p I’m hoping to finish everything before the 25th as we’re heading to my mom’s place in Pampanga and attending my high school barkada’s Christmas Party at Fontana the next day.

Anyway, I’m sure we’ll all be busy with the coming days so Merry Christmas everyone! Let’s all have fun celebrating the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
